Hailing from Canada, the duo @minorsineproject (Age and Sandau) cultivates soundscapes of deep acid gems that span the genre bounds in the 8-track Break Me Down EP on @toorough4radio Rough Cuts 06. Balancing elements of both emotive and club powerhouse energy, each track holds their own weight, while at the same time, compliments and builds upon one another to culminate in an EP that brings the best of the worlds of Chicago house and Detroit electro. With tracks like ‘Lost In Paradise,’ ‘Break Me Down,’ and ‘Luv 2 Dream,’ each traverse through different shades of pad-enriched territory that intersects Delsin-esque aesthetics with Alien Rain-like acid hypnotism. While tracks like ‘On The Pull’ and ‘Space Boy Playtime’ evoke the playful 90s shuffling funk side of the duo’s depth of production prowess.

Harrison BDP’s carefully curated and otherworldly approach to dance music is unmatched. Time spent in his countryside home in South Wales has given way to some of his most playful yet thought-provoking work to date. Now the Welsh DJ and producer debuts on MÖRK, combining elements of classic house styles and futuristic soundscapes - locking listeners in a voyage you’ll never want to end. 

Title track ‘Stand Your Ground’ is a seasoned helping of vintage BDP. Rolling snares lock eyes with sprawling acid leads and non-material aesthetics, while the track's foundation comes from the warm, skippy bassline from which every other element answers to. ‘All That’s On My Mind’ spans nine minutes of enhancement, as dense grooves cross paths with rays of sunshine that melt between the trees. Dreamy vocals ascent above the emerald forest acting as our guide. 

‘I Thought I Would Be Different But I Feel The Same’ the title of a track many of us can relate to, is a self reflective piece perfect for late-night strolls and early morning observation, before the record comes to a close with ‘I Made A New Friend Today’. Aquatic synths soar above a stripped back groove, oozing optimism and class, all the while still shrouded in the mystery and depth we’ve come to expect from one of electronic music's most consistent producers.

It all started with a simple Handpan recording...
Its sound sparked something deep inside me. Then came the Afro-house style kicks and percussions, building the pulse of the track.
With my lovely PSR Santana electric guitar, I added some ambient tones, a floating space between earth and sky.
Finally, the soulful Persian Kamanche joined in, bringing the spirit of the East into this modern blend.
That’s how Echo of Us was born, the echo of all of us, in a world where borders are fading.

گاهی موسیقی از برنامه و ایده شروع نمی‌شه، از یک لحظه شروع می‌شه.
یه روز صمیمی‌ترین هم‌راهم یک هنگ‌درام آورد به استودیوی من در دوسلدورف…
صداش و وجودش فضا رو پر کرد، انگار نوری وارد اتاق شد.
با Neumann TLM 102-و Avalon Sp 737 preamp ضبطش کردم، بعد چند کیک و پرکاشن آفروهاوس ساختم و کار جوون گرفت.
بعد با گیتار مورد علاقم PSR Santana چند لایه اتمسفریک اضافه کردم، و فضای کار رویایی‌تر شد.
اما جادو وقتی اتفاق افتاد که حسین کاشف با کمانچه‌اش اومد.
با هم خندیدیم، گپ زدیم، او نواخت و من ضبط کردم…
یه قطعه که نه فقط از صدا، بلکه از احساس و دوستی ساخته شد.

Tom Trago – one of the leading lights of the Dutch electronic music underground, who defined the house and electronica sound of Amsterdam like few others. He is a globe-trotting DJ, producer, live performer and label owner who enjoys nothing more than championing both overlooked gems and fresh sounds from his own country. Tom Trago held residencies at renowned Amsterdam institutions Trouw and De School and name any prestigious festival or clubs worldwide – pretty sure he’s played there.

He once claimed that he felt a physical need to make music every day, and it’s hard to think of anyone whose immersion in music is quite as complete. Tom Trago is known for his versatility across electronic music genres, deep beats and grooves, and remixes for giants such as Depeche Mode. His genre-blurring sound and unique style have made him an influential figure in the world of electronic music.
