Beirut-based System Revival Records released a phenomenal compilation named "Rust," featuring tracks by Inland, Cøre, Polygonia, and John Plaza, to name a few. The fifth compilation in their catalog aims to raise funds for humanitarian aid for refugees. Most currently, for the people of Ukraine who have been forced to flee their homes due to Russian military invasion.
Our premiere for today, "Shimmering Illusion," comes from our usual suspect, Polygonia. IO records co-founder known for her exquisite talent to make groovy Deep Techno, delivers yet another late-night trippy journey that has dance floor DNA all over it. "Shimmering Illusion" has an exceptional groove in its core, but this time it's the "sticky sound" of synths that make all the difference.
"Rust" is out via System Revival Records.

Yaleesa Hall has released solo tracks and remixes on the Will & Ink label before now, and here returns with four new cuts on the Perrin EP. The unknown producer turned plenty of heads with its first full outing, and the stripped back but succulent sounds on offer here will surely do the same again. 

The first cut is 'First Perrin', which has massive rubber kick drums rolling beneath little flecks of static and raw metal texture. Synths groan under the weight of the drums and overall the track makes for a perfect warehouse or basement banger. 'Second Perrin' is no less subtle. Once again it has gigantic kick drums, but this time they are more rocking and punchy, and have icy hi hats riding long side them. Deep, droning bass sounds and clever use of filters add a sense of scale to the track and it cannot fail to suck you in as a result. 

'Third Perrin' is another, organic, humid and rather oppressive affair driven by perfectly sculpted kick drums. They hit hard as itchy hi hats and dehumanised vocal sounds try to keep up but instead get sucked under by the groove. Lastly, 'Fourth Perrin' has a wonky synth line riding up and down, slicing into the barrelling kick drums as they cut in and out. 

This is expertly hypnotic, over sized and cavernous techno that will suck you in, sweep you up and trap you in a perfect trance.

This is true euphoria, a firm label favourite and a modern day classic. Buried Hopes comes packaged in a matte black sleeve complete with sticker and A6 insert.

Founded in 2016 by Mathis Kolkoz and after releasing several works on Oráculo Records / Bordello A Parigi and some DJ sets around Europe, Blind Delon raised to a 3-members live band.

With their heads and bags filled with synthesizers from a time they weren't even born, the band can be found today between a record shop and a cave rave, looking for an aesthetic that is nowhere near dying. Post-Synthwave might be the best words to qualify the project, as the music is a sort of breed between outrageous Pop and cold basslines.

Building a bridge between Pop and Rave music, Blind Delon is making a conventional yet romantic Post-Punk sound.
