Étam, is a DJ and Record Label owner born in Santander, Spain. He has lived like a globetrotter, spending time in cities like Belgrade, Oslo, Tarragona, and now residing in the Barcelona area. 

A humble lover of electronic music since childhood, he gradually found his way to deeper and darker techno, where he truly feels at home.

Étam is known for creating mixes that highlight careful equalization, allowing the music to breathe and take listeners on a sonic journey.

In 2022, together with his brother Jorge launched their own Techno Record Label called Loopaina Records. Striving to carve out a place in the competitive techno scene, which is dominated by established artists’ labels.

Dub Tales is a solo project by Francesco Vacca, born from the trio Get Serious, active since 2010 with Stefano Cibabene and Michele Quagliati. Starting his DJ career in Genoa in 2006, Francesco co-founded Groove Secret Events, organizing open-air parties with guest artists.
In 2008 and 2009, the trio performed at notable Italian clubs like KAMAKAMA ( Viareggio ) and Tenax ( Florence ), gaining exposure beyond their hometown. In 2010, they moved to Berlin, playing in venues such as Sisyphos, Suicide Circus, and securing a residency at Tresor.
With Dub Tales, Francesco explores deeper, dub-influenced and ambient techno, drawing inspiration from Detroit’s soulful roots that first sparked his musical journey.

Her style leans towards classic roots, shaped by Detroit traditions and early minimalism, but she brings her own touch through careful layering and warm, rolling rhythms. Nothing ever feels rushed. Instead, she draws people in through flow, repetition, and small shifts that slowly reshape the energy. Her track choices tell their own story — thoughtful, grounded, and built on a genuine love for the culture and its origins.

This mix follows that approach closely. It moves through deep, hypnotic patterns, keeping a subtle groove while letting the drums and bass do the talking. It’s playful in places, darker in others, always balanced, and held together by her calm and precise mixing.

UMEK’s label 1605 presents an EP from French duo Cosmic Boys, who recently featured on the imprint working in collaboration with UMEK himself, but this time they are back with two solo tracks.

Cosmic Boys previous works have been released via tracks and remixes on labels such as Popof’s FORM, Oscar Aguilera’s HE-ART and Richie Hawtin’s Minus.

Quickly rising through the ranks of the world’s techno elite, Cosmic Boys have achieved many top 10 selling tracks on Beatport, and currently their collaboration with UMEK is charted at No.2 in the techno section of the website.

The duo consists of Sebastien Bevil plus Gaby Meynadier, and they have also proven popular DJ’s with several festival bookings across Europe.

“Paranormal” opens the release with a hammering kick drum and tense pads that lay a foundation for the arpeggiating lead synth and sci-fi effects. Swelling with tension, its high-paced energy gives the track a frantic momentum that’s perfect for peak time plays.

Second of the cuts, “We Are The Futrur” is deeper and more stripped back with a building euphoria that engulfs the track. Underpinned by the relentless pounding of the tough percussion and sinister tones of the ominous vocal, this cut is a twisted blend of dark and light textures.
