I needed fresh air so much...Wanna get out and meet with nature...Recently, I and the city ''Z'' were in a kind of out of sync or maybe just tired of each other? At this moment, I want to find myself face to face with my spirit...In seemingly unshakable decisiveness, was already pulling on my jeans, as suddenly, in the room appeared something like a net - these were thoughts, who obviously didn’t want to let me go anywhere...Unfortunately, I followed them and the attention vector is redirected...

It’s so interesting why do humans have such a feature of consciousness that makes embellish events from the positive or negative sides...It’s like me of the “past” - was so dramatic in relation to my position at that time and didn’t even understand that I was already driving...The feelings like the rut of life has changed and some moments creating pressure in my head have released...Apparently, too accustomed myself to this approximation, and this, mixed with everyday reality, gives ample space for maneuver in the art of self-deception...In what I succeeded...Maybe this is because accuracy and acceptance of suchness require effort, as well as clarity and peace ...

The seaplane, making a small somersault, cutting cumulus clouds, began to decline...The silhouette of the island gradually formed in the porthole, the landscape of which, combining opposites, looked like an ancient sacred symbol - ouroboros...
Although he was not afraid to fly, rather, on the contrary, the air spheres are always attracted him with its freedom, but ''re rapprochement with the earth'', possibly due to biblical stories about the fall from Eden, once loaded into the subconscious, caused this familiar feeling of light excitement - the heart is hiding in a house...

The sand crunched underfoot and, along with our guides from local tribes, along unknown paths, we walked into the very heart of the jungle...Making his way through the waves of sounds and the translation of thoughts, as if through space radio, they did not immediately feel that the ascent began imperceptibly...

Crystallizing, the words turned into a symbolic image of our planet, which from this angle seemed so small and two figures - a male and a female, dressed in a mantle of trimmed clothes...All this expressed our connection with the archetypal world...At some point, everything merged into a single network, we became neurons of the Universe, impulses of cosmic consciousness, more subtle than any kind of energy...Music sounded... Renunciation...

SÅNTI - AMATEUR EXOTIC'S PADMA RENUNCIATION

Zongamin takes a snapshot of lock-down, like a faded picture of a day at the fun-fair, scrunched-up and torn-up at the edges. Exotica, disco, dub and kosmiche stylings are doused in bleach and tumble in a bath of mud and frothing sea water. Tape loops circle around, conjuring dusty clouds and moments for reflection on times passed. Like the work of General Strike and Hype Williams, Zongamin molds his explorations in multi-genre goo, but bypasses obvious pastiche, instead unearthing a form of latent, submerged funk.

She walked along the paths of the garden, giving soft touches to flowers and leaves...The flight of her thoughts was somewhere at many light-years from Earth...Step by step moved her away from her usual route, and now, already completely unfamiliar trees and shrubs began to cling to her with their branches, returning to the present moment...It was unusual, cause it seemed that she knew every inch of this place, but, excessive self-confidence, sometimes suggests in her interpretation of events...
Despite the fact that the day was hot, a feeling of something cold ran through the chest...Suddenly, she saw that someone was sitting under one of the trees...Coming closer, she became aware that this is a figure of a man hiding in the shadows...His eyes were closed, but it seemed that he knew that they would meet...Approaching, she carefully asked:

- Sorry to interrupt your unity with nature, but I found myself in a rather unusual situation for myself...I got lost...Can you tell me where is way out?

Slowly opening his eyes, he gestured for her to sit down...Without saying a word, obeying some of the many types of the magic of human charisma, she sank to the ground opposite...Eye contact...The stranger smiled and said...

SHARKEISHA - AMATEUR EXOTIC'S UTTERANCES OF GLOSSOLALIA

Since her childhood, there had always been a blueprint for what love and happiness looked like. She'd see it on the TV, in films and magazines, so surely this must be how it plays out in real life, right? Soon enough though she'd become disenchanted with these falsities, to her they were now sugar coated fantasies that bore no comparison to the realities of love and heartache. It was transparent, as clear as day; the blueprint never existed.

Continuing their mission to showcase the traditional music of Korea through a contemporary lens, Seoul-based label Tonal Unity set about releasing the second in a series of three V/A EPs with artists interpreting these raw, ancient sounds. Among those artists featured are X.Y.R., Beck Junghyun, Ryuji Ono, Fortunato, DJ Bowlcut and Tokyo native and Hole and Holland boss Mamazu, who layers hypnotic drums and synths with slivers of Korean Minyo vocal samples.

Fortunato is a trackmaker from São Paulo Brazil, having released on labels like Shango, Ohxala, and Random Collective. His track “Sharihotsu” is named in reference to a disciple of Buddha who knew all the teachings to attain enlightenment, but did not know how to put them into practice.

X.Y.R. is a leading artist in Russia’s deeply creative ambient-not-ambient scene. “Bamboo Haze” pairs his signature lush exotica with Korean instrumentation to create a truly engrossing soundscape.

Mamazu is a leading member of the downtempo scene in Tokyo, has released on a variety of nice labels, and has been remixed by Nicola Cruz for a release on his label Hole and Holland. “Blueprint” is a great example of his hypnotic style, utilizing Korean Minyo vocal samples to great effect. 

Fortunato is an up-and-coming trackmaker from São Paulo Brazil, having released on labels like Shango, Ohxala, and Random Collective. “Sharihotsu” is named in reference to a disciple of Buddha who knew all the teachings to attain enlightenment, but did not know how to put it into practice.

DJ Bowlcut is a prominent Seoul producer and champion turntablist, known for his live analog sets of lo-fi house and saturated electro. “Dream Valley” sees him slowing the tempo a bit, playfully using a sample of the Korean taepyeongso in a hazy mood.

Menqui is a Berlin based dj & digger constantly on the hunt for musical treasures ranging from disco to cosmic synth pop, wave, proto house and many other fields. Besides sharing his music from behind the decks he has also been involved in a variety of different projects - f.e. by hosting „Past Forward“ a monthly radio programme on cashmereradio.com, where he presents open-minded listening sessions together with kryptic dj and hendrik stein. Since 2019 he also takes care about the newly established label called R-i-O along Nadia D'Alò  and Benedikt Frey. Rumors are that there might even be a connection to the infamous, yet mysterious 'Serious Trouble' releases.
