Six Impossible Things - Bad Day

Little mixtest i put together to demo superior drummer for the first time, and also my new approach to getting a decent bass tone. Overall i think a lot of stuff has started to improve in my mixes at this point. This mix has absoulutely no saturation on it as i am waiting for my iLok device, so that i can use some slate plugins. That should explain why the mix sounds rather thin, hahah. That being said, I think the mix is brighter, more dynamic, and louder than any mix I've done before. The riffs are some ideas that sort of appeared out of nowhere and I've been jamming on for a few weeks/months (?). I just sort of added some drums and bass to them. I might work some more on this, I might not. Enjoy!

Mixtest 2

I'm home for about a week and a half, and I figured I'd upload this little thing just to show that I am writing again! This one is in drop C tuning, and I am using the same gear as always. If you have any questions, hit me up. I did not pay too much attention to the mix or master this time around. I am however beyond excited to be uploading some new stuff.

I did this new thing! I have many riffs stored for this one, so maybe it will be a long one at some point. I experimented a bit with a cloudkicker-esque tone, and used an octaver on the main rhythm guitar tracks. I think it sounds pretty cool. There is a lot of fun, riffy transitions in here as well!
