Hallo zusammen,
dieses mal kein Track für die OSC sondern ein Demotrack meiner erstellten Presets für den VSTi Synth Swierk 1.0.8 der seit jetzt in aktualisierter Version erhältlich ist.

Nach den (für mich) enttäuschenden Antworten auf die Anfrage des Programmieres, ob jemand Presets für seinen (kostenlosen) Synth erstellen würde, habe ich mich in der freien Zeit in den letzten  Monaten hingesetzt und einige Presets erstellt.

Ein Teil hiervon findet Ihr in diesem Track, bestehend aus kleinen Track-Schnipseln. Die exklusive Presetbank (50 Presets) sowie das FL Studio Projekt findet ihr auf http://www.saltline.co.uk/presets.html . Einige der Presets sind auch im Swierk enthalten ;)

Die Sounds sind von mir mit Delays, Flangern, Chorus, Gates oder/und etwas EQ angereichert worden (der Synth hat keine Effekte von Haus aus).

Viele Spass beim reinhören und Komentare sind herzlich willkommen :)

Hi there,
this time no track for the OSC but a demo track of my created presets for the VST synth Swierk 1.0.8 which is available in an updated version for now.

After the disappointing (to me) answers to the request of the programmer's, if anyone would create synth presets for his (free) Synth, I sat down in the free time in the last months and created some presets.

A part of it you'll find in this track, consisting of small track snippets. The exclusive preset bank (50 presets) and the FL Studio project can be found on http://www.saltline.co.uk/presets.html . Some of the presets are also included in Swierk;)

The sounds have been enriched by me with delay, flanger, chorus, gates or / and some EQ (the synth has no FX effect).

"The Night Is Dark And Full Of Terrors" was originally composed for the 52nd KVR One-Synth-Challenge. This updated version of the track features a more traditional rock arrangement (e.g. rock guitar, rock drums, electric bass guitar, hammond organ, mellotron strings) along with a couple of instances of the excellent Podolski synthesizer plug-in from U-He.

"Traipsing Thru Terror" was originally composed for the 55th KVR One-Synth-Challenge using sounds exclusively created with Pekka Kauppila's "MauSynth". This updated version of the track features a more traditional rock arrangement (e.g. guitar, drums, bass, organ, strings, synth).

This track  employs a triplet rhythm and is composed exclusively in the "Double Harmonic Scale" (AKA the Arabic/Byzantine Scale).

ToneDeF is a software engineer by profession, part-time composer by inclination. He is influenced musically by what he listens to, which consists of hard rock, hair metal, synth-pop, progressive rock/metal, new age electronic, techno/trance, and classics from the Romantic and Baroque periods. It is not unusual to hear tiny shades of commercially successful works within his own humble little ones -- he considers it an homage to the truly talented.

One of ToneDeF's guilty pleasures is recreating the music of classic computer/video games utilizing modern synthesized and sampled sounds. His first submission to SoundCloud was a re-imagining of the main theme music from the classic LucasArts game, "Ballblazer".

Although he has chosen "ToneDeF" as his handle, rest assured that he is not actually "tone deaf".

Who exactly are "The ElectroMetal Minstrels"? They are the virtual musicians "performing" the virtual instruments on each track sequenced by ToneDeF.
