A long time ago when I last played in Düsseldorf and after the first attempt to play for the Absurd boys in 2021, which was not possible due to the pandemic, the second attempt finally worked🙏
At prime time in the basement there was a really lively atmosphere and I was really impressed by the small but fine location. So I started my set at around 2 a.m. and you can get an idea of what came out by yourself🔈🎶❤️

▌I Verwendest du neue Technologie oder bist du eher klassisch unterwegs?
Am liebsten verbinde ich analog und digital, um das Beste aus beiden Welten zu holen. Da kann es im Studio gerne schonmal passieren, dass ich akustische Instrumente durch den Modular jage und die Aufnahme danach am Computer komplett in Einzelteile zerlege. Dadurch kann sich gerne auch mal die komplette Ästhetik eines Klangs verändern. Alles kann - nichts muss! Mal so, mal so. Ich finde, es ist wichtig da eine gewisse Offenheit mitzubringen, um immer wieder neue Klangwelten zu eröffnen.

▌II Welcher Track ist für dich ganz besonders in deinem Set?
Eine absolute Premiere ist für mich das erste Stück im Set namens "Bleep". Ich spiele den Song zum ersten Mal und es ist auch der allererste Track, der in meinem neuen Studio in Köln entstanden ist. Ich kann es kaum erwarten, den Track live zu spielen!

▌III Wie bist du zur Musik / zum auflegen gekommen?
Ich spiele Gitarre, seitdem ich fünf bin aber hab mit dem Auflegen erst mit Anfang 20 angefangen. Damals war ich für ein Jahr in Istanbul und brauchte etwas Kohle, also haben mich Freunde gefragt, ob ich auf ihren Veranstaltungen spielen möchte. Von da aus ging es dann recht schnell in Läden wie Suma Beach, Kloster oder auch der Kasette weiter. Die Clubs gibt es zwar alle nicht mehr, aber die Erinnerungen bleiben. Vor allem an die Acid Sundays am schwarzen Meer denke ich ganz gerne zurück.

There are so many layers of feels to share about this very special day: I played a sunrise set from 6-8am at my favorite underground spot in Berlin (Greife) with my dear KlangSubsTanz fam. 🌞

I've always been a fan of the Knuppel crew 🫶🏼 It was an honor to play at the previous location in Kreuzberg with female:pressure back in 2017. Today is a dream come true to play at the new location - this time with so many lovelies around & also we celebrated my friend Sultan’s big 30s altogether. ⭐️

It was purely magical - the room was on fire and I am speechless still - thinking about all of the countless smiles and awesome feedback during and after the set. Many thanks to everyone who danced & shared this fantastic experience with this V - it means the world! 🫶

No words could convey it all properly at the moment - Gratitude overload & My heart is full 🥹

Südpol is without a doubt my favorite club in Germany I simply love playing there. 

This time I was back on the upstairs (Oben) floor doing the opening set for Saturday night playing 22.00 - 01.00.

At the end of the set, there is a silent part. That is me pranking the technician while he is moving around with the cables... sorry Henning :D
