This Liveset remarks a new Era in our career. Since Simon moved to Costa Rica one month ago we`ve never been parted so far from each other, though we`re still connected mentally and virtually. This set channels the incredible joy we had together while making this music and playing it for dancefloors all over the world in the past decade. It features oldie-goldie classics aswell as the newest shit and unreleased stuff that will be coming soon! 

I recorded and dedicated this set to my bro-mo, production-partner, mentor and friend Simon, who did a huge dash forward to search his luck on the other side of the planet! All best to you my man!

Nevermind these circumstances we`ll be keeping the shit real until the end so expect some cool releases in the near future!

Sonic Tickle - Parting Path Passengers Live Set 2021

Vince (aka. Electrypnose) holds a special place among my favorite artists in the Psy community. His creations consistently carry a unique and exceptional quality. Our connection deepened when he began releasing his slower Tech-style music through my label, Digital Structures, around 6-7 years ago. 
In 2021, while I was deeply immersed in the creation of my album, I approached Vince with the proposal of a joint venture. Vince shared an impressive track with meticulously crafted analog recordings, including a captivating Moog sequence that distinctly echoed the classic Perfect Stranger sound - it became the beating heart of this mesmerizing joint venture. 
Collaborating remotely between two busy artists can be time-consuming. I had to strategize how my contributions would meld with the track, create my sections, and then send them back to Vince. Similarly, he needed to find the right moments to continue the collaborative exchange. During this intricate process, I worked diligently to align the track's essence with the sonic theme of my album, and the transformation of the track into its current form spanned approximately a year and a half. Despite the challenges of remote collaboration, the outcome promises a sonic adventure like no other. And while it might not sound like your typical Electrypnose track, Vince's unique artistic signature shines through.

This track started as a short commission for Pyramid Festival - a 90-second piece to capture its spirit. But the moment we recorded the flute with Neda Nikolić, something much deeper opened up. Her playing brought a wave of ancient emotion - so raw, so alive - that I couldn’t stop. I had to follow it.

I expanded the track, let it breathe. Then Riya - my wife - sang valas from her soul. When her voice met Neda’s flute in that space I had shaped… I broke.

I cried.

Not once, but many times. While making it. While listening back. Something in this music reaches a part of me that almost nothing else does. It feels like it came from a place beyond thought - a sacred channel between us. Between sound and spirit.

It’s psychedelic, it’s alive, and it’s full of emotion. But more than anything, it’s honest. A moment of truth shared between three of us - Neda, Riya, and myself.

I don’t know where this track will take you. But I know where it took me. And I hope you feel that.

Tongue & Groove are on a roll, with a chart topping No 1 Album and three consecutive top ten hits and being booked worldwide to perform at major international festivals they are rocking dance floors on a global level.  Jake Ainley and Ric Featherstone are both deeply passionate electronic music lovers, involved in the scene for many years. They met at many Flying Rhino and T.I.P parties in the 1990’s when the scene was exploding and they forged a deep over a mutual deep love of the psychedelic scene and a passion for music production and DJ’ing. After putting on parties and Djng together for over a decade they decided to get in the studio and create the twisted sonic delights that had been turning them on and to make some proper party music. 
In 2006 Tongue & Groove was born with a mission to create music that has the best combination of Progressive, Techno and Psychedelic Trance. With their musical roots immersed in the sounds of the beginnings of Goa Trance, they wanted to produce a new sound that both captures the best of that epic era with a new and exciting twist that could be best described as psychedelic techno. A sound that they have pioneered and is now spreading like wildfire around the world. 
Now signed to Nano Records they have released E.P’s and tracks with Nano records and on other labels such as Echoes Records ,Iboga Records ,Flow Records, Liquid Records, Broken Records and Shifty Disco.
