The ‘Reconstructed’ series hit back with a release that revisits two of Steyoyoke Blacks earliest masterpieces. Aaryon and David Granha amalgamate their skills and talents to deliver their own versions of Pete Oak’s ‘Tranquila’ and Skena’s ‘Waiting in the Wings’.

Aaryon & David Granha’s interpretation of ‘Waiting In The Wings’ takes on quite a few extra drum layers, giving it a more punchy vibe. A torrent of high hats and double bassline kicks establish a strong foothold, subsiding only momentarily to allow for the tracks signature synth riffs to shine through, which arrive in a much lower key then the original.  

This ‘Tranquila’ remix has even more elements added to its already unforgiving presence. The bassline oozes a solid dubbed flavouring and sits more prominently as the backbone of the remix, all whilst industrial soundscapes punch and claw their way in and around the track, creating a rhythmic angst of darkness and ferocity.

Kick off the night with a really melodic piece of music. Italian producer Cioz is bringing “Fury“ together with Coloppio. A really warm and organic sound leading us into the night. Strong claps and dubby echoes making this one really special. “Bit66“ is bringing bleeps and bits in a perfect atmosphere. A minimalistic start getting into a groovy and a playful top line. A lots of passion and energy in this track on the B-Side. “5 hours“ goes straight back to deep house with dark basic synth sounds and the typical Einmusika mood for the club season 2017. A hypnotic swinging bass line, sharp drums and dark, swelling pianos cords finalising that beauty of an EP.

Cioz feat. Coloppio - Bit66

This one is about much more than the dancefloor: "Ruler On The Throne" by Budakid is full of ear openers with it's painted synth sounds and the metallic bleeps combined with the warm voice of Siogue. Such an intense statement of deep and electronic music to end and summarize the season. "The Question Is Why" comes much more poppy and combines different musical cultures. It's trippy and melodic and turns into a funk-tinged anthem while the piano is taken you back to the beach. The remix by Kris Davis speaks the language of the club. An electronic romance for your body, filled with a classy bass line and the power of minimalistic sounds. Out end of September on Einmusika.
