FREDSTA is a danish DJ who has been keeping it low for years. Being spastic and communicating through his eye controlled computer, FREDSTA and modern technology is now ready to show the world what he loves to do - making electronic music with inspiration from all over the world. Sjonkel Rolfsen is a vinyl enthusiast and music collector from Trondheim in Norway. He has been welding records at local venues and events for two decades. Nowadays, he mostly enjoys to fiddle around with experimental and ambient in the comfort of his humble abode, but still get the odd epiphany to wonder out into the enchanting world of house and techno. When he is not fumbling about on the decks, he likes to travel. He tries to play with the possibility of combining electronica and leftfield soundscapes, in a mixcast friendly way, catering to your everyday soundtrack needs.

Detrás del alter ego "Ultratube", hay una persona tremendamente curiosa y con una obsesión de investigar constantemente nueva música, nuevas estructuras y sonidos que lo lleven a otro estado emocional. 

Su pasión musical sincera se empezó a desarrollar en la mitad de los 90's bañándose de estilos donde predominaban las guitarras distorsionadas como el Indie Rock, el Punk, el Noise, el Shoegaze, el Indie Pop o Dream Pop entre otros. Enamorado de las bases potentes y las melodías celestiales. 

A principios del 2000, empezó el contacto con la electrónica a través del Techno de un corte mas minimalista e hipnótico, con gente como Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills o Josh Wink entre otros. Ya a mediados y a finales de la época del 2000,  empieza a tener contacto con estilos mas melódicos y atmosféricos, como el Progressive House, influenciado por gente como John Digweed, Sasha o Hernan Cattaneo. Sobre el año 2022, se enamora del Disco en su vertiente mas cósmica y espacial (donde también toca Dark Disco, Italo Disco, Indie Dance, New Beat, Synthwave, Acid, Progressive, Techno, etc...)

Suele pinchar en El Barbero Club (Palma de Mallorca). Uno de los clubes de referencia en la ciudad en cuanto a electrónica de calidad se refiere, con más de 30 años de antigüedad.

Los mixes que realiza son viajes a través de sonidos hipnóticos, narcóticos, lisérgicos y melódico-melancólicos donde se juntan para crear una subida de intensidad emocional del oyente.

Behind the alter ego "Ultratube", there is a tremendously curious person with an obsession to constantly investigate new music, new structures and sounds that take him to another emotional state. 

His sincere musical passion began to develop in the mid-90s, bathing himself in styles where distorted guitars predominated such as Indie Rock, Punk, Noise, Shoegaze, Indie Pop or Dream Pop, among others. In love with powerful bases and heavenly melodies. 

At the beginning of 2000, contact with electronic music began through Techno, of a more minimalist and hypnotic style, with people like Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills or Josh Wink among others. Already in the mid and late 2000s, he began to have contact with more melodic and atmospheric styles, such as Progressive House, influenced by people like John Digweed, Sasha or Hernan Cattaneo. 

Around the year 2022, he falls in love with Disco in its most cosmic and spatial aspect (where he also plays Dark Disco, Italo Disco, Indie Dance, New Beat, Acid, Progressive, etc...).


He usually plays at El Barbero Club (Palma de Mallorca). One of the reference clubs in the city in terms of quality electronics with more than 30 years of experience.


The mixes he creates are usually journeys through hypnotic, narcotic, lysergic and melodic-melancholic sounds where they come together to create a rise in the listener's emotional intensity.
