Sonnensysteme aka SOSY is a child of simple circumstances. Created before German reunion, he grew up after the fall of the Berlin Wall and reaped what he sowed when he was still at school. Besides being mistaken for his brother, he also pursues a familiar relationship with his sister. As an emancipation into a satisfying state of individuality, the third-born made his way into the world of electronic music.

His love for crunchy, dystopian-sounding techno and other musical pearls between melody, kitsch, echo and ambient is the basis of the sound he plays. At some point in the 2010s, this led to the idea of taking everything a little slower: SOSY began pitching down the hits of the scene. And now? He is resident DJ at @station-endlos-halle and likes to drink sparkling wine.🍾

SOSY has played gigs at a number of venues, for example Kater Blau, Mensch Meier, Jonny Knüppel, Rummelsbucht, Sisyphos, Südpol, Wagenbau, Bahnwärter Thiel, Harry Klein, Elipamanoke, So&So, Ostend, Grelle Forelle, Muna and festivals such as Artlake, Bucht der Träumer*, Ikarus, Journey to Tarab, Feel, Freiland, Fusion, Pangea, SMS, Tarmac and Wadi Rum.

At a speed far from light, he sends his cosmic idea of downtempo between 90 and 108 BPM at the speed of sound into the vastness of the ether. That's how it goes, honestly. 

We are excited to hear where the journey takes us! 🪐

Kataya:

Kataya is a Berlin based Djane and producer.
At the age of four, Kataya discorded her passion for music, she started to learn various instruments and playing autodidact. When her talent was discovered, she went to be part of a classic orchestra. This had major influence on her musical knowledge and her perspective of music as a very social art, including the roles of producers and consumers at the same time. In the late 90s her brother introduced her to Berlin based genres like Techno, Urban music, and more. This has lead to a vicious infection, caused by the rhythm and soul of the matter, sothat a very thick and broad music catalog was starting to spread itself. In 2017, she took several sabbatical year from oraanizina of festivals and local events and went to concentrate her mind- and skill set sources to the very core of her all-loving passion: music itself. She started to mix in France in 2017 and as soon as she went back to Berlin she pulled of her first gig at one of the biggest musical events of the city, the Carnival of Cultures. Since her spark hit the lights, she was infamously recognized by the people who witness her and so continuously new gigs have emerged. A life without the joy of perching in the DJ booth and contributing to the crowd, seems unthinkable for the young artist. When Kataya plays at a party, you'd better have your laces tight ' cause she will knock you out your shoes immediately. Her social mindset,, mixed with her sensitive feeling for certain vibrations, she is able to connect to the soul of the dance floor like a dream cathcer. From deep baselines and marvelous melodies to epic vocals, groovy sub-bases and dirty tunes, she always knows what's on point.
