The night was cold, the sky was clear
stars shot through the atmosphere

The night allowed no whispering sound
no drop of rain, no misting cloud
When suddenly that metallic craft shined
shared its warmth and peace of mind
Soothing melodies with it appeared
To fully delight! Who may have heard?

It came right out of the Orion’s eye
Said Hello and greetings, goodnight and Goodbye
Just a short visit, just bringing some bliss
Touched the soul gently, leaned in for a kiss
Then Leaped back where it came from
without any warn
That’s how Deep Sky Sketchbooks gets born.
