So I just got back from a trip to Amsterdam for my friends birthday, & we met my old flatmate Arthur there.  We had a wonderful time walking around and it blew my mind how many cyclists there were.  Arthur said there are 19 million bicycles in The Netherlands ..just amazing.

This is a song about some of the business & friendliness in the city, with a bit of mystery as well I guess : ) I just wanted to get it down so I'm sorry that it's a bit rough & not well mixed either. You'd be best using headphones for sure!

Song for the Giving Voice UK campaign and 2011 National Year of Communication. 

I thought about all the times I have been asked what a Speech and Language Therapist does and this song came to me.

It is desperately sad that there are so many people needing Speech and Language Therapy and at the same time there are so few jobs for newly qualified therapists. It is shocking that there are over 300 members of the Facebook Support Group for unemployed newly SLTs, some of whom qualified over a year ago.

I very much hope that the Giving Voice Campaign can succeed in getting adequate funding for SLT services across the UK.

Very thrilled when this was used as the soundtrack for the video of the Tyne Millennium Bridge "Communication Chain" event as part of the Giving Voice Campaign! More info on my blog here:
