Freak-When-See is an aspiring Beatmaker/Producer from Belfast UK.


Freak-When-See fell in love with dance music from an early age during the early 90's, borrowing (stealing lol) his older sisters vinyl records and cd's of artists like The Prodigy, The Shamen, Capella, 2 Unlimited and N'Trance to name a few. 



As Freak-When-See advanced into his mid teens he started making and swapping mixtapes with friends who were into the Hardcore Techno Rave scene, with artists such as Carl Cox, DJ Trix, Binman, Scooter, DJ Scott, Robbie Nelson and Tizer.



By the late 90's Freak-When-See became an avid clubber in the Belfast scene after listening to popular DJ's on BBC Radio One, like Pete Tong and Judge Jules who played the best House, Trance and Techno every weekend, which inspired him and his friends to frequent popular nightclubs like Paradise Lost, Thompson's Garage, Dempsey's Terrace and The Network.

Most musicians are stuck in a loop and clutch their heads, saying this is impossible... That everyone who makes money in music does so because they're famous or because they got it through luck.

Music is my passion! It has always been a wonderful part of my life. Growing up in Brooklyn New York exposed me to street corner crooners, Afro Latin beats, Blues, Jazz and Rock & Roll. Marching down the street playing a tenor drum in my Boy Scout uniform is a cherished memory I have of growing up in the Brooklyn. It was my most urgent desire to dawn that uniform so, I too, could be a drummer in the Brooklyn Day Parade. 

The Apollo theatre was another great influence in my youth, knowing the back stage manager’s son helped too. oh yea, front row seats. 

In high school I discovered the harmonica along with a steady diet of R&B, Jazz, Rock, I never got to stuck of any genre and appreciating the fusion of different styles. I enlisted in the Air Force in Coral Gables Florida after graduating Longwood High Middle Island. 

Stationed in Okinawa Japan I met countless badass funky musicians from all over the US. For seven years I played keyboards in a top forty cover band “Shock Tacy”. Working Steve Howard the owner of the “Power Station” recording studio in Okinawa Japan, I learned a lot of the basics of the craft. 

After retirement I returned to California and I decided to my own start my own business building  my own recording studio Phat Daddy’s Music Studio in 1999. 

In 2000 Atlanta was to be coined the Hip Hop headquarters of the DirtySouth, I too decided to relocated to ATL for work in the music industry. 
Working with Audio Visual companies and Wizard Electronics a music repair facilities. 

2012 I discovered the THI studio in Brooklyn, where I received my audio engineering certificate with my studio mentor Robert Honablue. I am now based in Portland Oregon producing and recording music, my life’s passion!!!

One domino can create a ripple effect that can reverberate around the world. For nearly a decade DJ Producer D0min0 has been that artist who has turned those ripples into undulating soundscapes that traverse the broad genres of Dubstep, Hybrid-Trap, Mid-tempo, Freeform and Experimental bass music.
He is a fluid dynamic DJ, who can take his audiences to the highest state of ecstasy, propelling them forward with compelling beats and drops that leave them in a state of rapture. Having played at Okeechobee, Hulaween, Purple Hatters Ball, Pass The Good, Imagine and Zen Awakening, he has been in high demand by promoters from all parts of the USA. When you consider that he has worked alongside Freaky, Devious, Wreckno, Subdocta, G-Space, Laika Beats, Herobust, Barely Alive, VLCN, Manic Focus, Phyphr, Dredlok, TYLR, TheBusiness, Bitsky, Ok.Kevin, Tisoki, Minesweepa, Ephwurd, Diskull, StarChild, Sullivan King and Entangled-Mind, its easy to understand how highly regarded he is in the industry. 
Releasing a whole host of tracks in 2021 as he immersed himself in the studio, he has exploded into 2022 with the bass heavy sound of Project X. Drawing on his formal education in music, D0min0 knows how to arrange and provide intelligent sounds for a new generation of fans. Multi-dimensional and following his own unique style, D0min0 has produced a track that is a stunning reflection of his skills.   
As the world wakes up from two years of sleep, it is DJ Producers like D0min0 who will not only herald a new dawn of musical possibilities, but who will redefine the future sound of music.

Das war vor ca 4 Jahren als ich zufällig (??) - zumindest völlig unerwartet an einem erst langweiligen Freitag Abend plötzlich mitten in einer Feierei stand! 
Nach ein paar Wochen lernte ich die DJs zufällig (??) privat kennen und letztendlich haben mich die drei: 2hood4radio, Mustermann und der Portweinprediger so inspiriert, dass ich nach 10 Jahren ohne Auflegen, wieder damit begann. Danke auch an Tutor, Problemlöser, Copilot und Wingman, Freund fürs Leben, Michi Morris.

Inzwischen gab es Indie Dance-  ein Genre, das Alternative Rock mit elektronischer Tanzmusik verbindet. Charakteristisch ist eine Mischung aus Gitarrenriffs und Synthesizern, oft mit einem treibenden Beat.
 
In diversen DJ Gigs in Clubs und Bars und dem Wunsch, irgendwie alle Besucher zum wippen zu bringen habe ich dann viele Genres-auch Tracks aus meiner Vergangenheit kombiniert und bin der Meinung: Es gibt nur gut aufgelegte und schlechte (nicht zur Atmosphäre passende Musik. 
So kann ich heute auflegen: LO-Fi, Chillout, Hip Hop über Disco, House, Deephouse hin in Richtung Techno und auchDrum n Bass. etc. 


Musik soll unterhalten, im besten Fall unterbewusst die Stimmung heben,ohne dass es der Hörer wirklich realisiert, was abgeht. Mitreißen. Das ist die Macht und zugleich die Verantwortung von uns DJs. Ich mach das nicht um berühmt und reich zu werden. Ich mach das, weil ich es liebe.
