ESHOVO is a multimedia artist from Prince George's County, MD, by way of Edo State, Nigeria, residing in Chicago since 2014.  Many legendary artists have inspired him but it's the lyricality of Ms. Lauryn Hill, the flows of Andre 3000 and the ear of Yasiin Bey that have made the most enduring impacts.
 
As an independent artist, ESHOVO works alongside longtime collaborators Tony Cruise, Olonadé, Roy Palace and Xavier! to produce sounds that leave a unique and lasting impression with every listener.  In performance, he invokes this spirit of collaboration between himself, the audience, and the space. Sonically, the work aims to elicit the hospitality of ‘90s RnB while bristling at the smooth touch.
 
With a BFA from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago (2018) and 10+ years of making music, ESHOVO continues to push towards the opportunity to share music with larger audiences without diluting the passion.
