Too Much Data - Change of Direction

Glad to announce the birth of “Too Much Data”, the new project of Aharon Segal (aka MFG) & Chen Shmuel (aka Atmik). Chen is 25 and Aharon 54, the mix of the generations is clearly heard in the tracks, which are a mix of classic Goa Trance melodies and new powerful production.

The two meet in 2023 in Kasol, India, and have been producing music ever since, the results are two albums, the first is the self titled release “Too Much Data” which is ready and be released soon, this album has a completely new way of production that will definitely surprise the listeners, you already heard “Breaking Rules” and two more samples will be released to the public soon: “Running in Circles” and “Change of Directions”, more info about this release will be announced soon.

The second album is “1914” which has a more retro style of thinking and production, this one is in it’s final steps of production and will be released next.

Atmik is Chen Shmuel, a 26-year-old Israeli electronic music producer.
Chen began producing psychedelic trance in 2020 and released his debut EP in 2023 on Zion 604, the label of Roy Sason (aka Shidapu), who has been his mentor and continues to support him to this day.

In addition to his solo work, Chen is involved in two collaborative projects:
	•	Too Much Data (TMD) – with Aharon Segal from MFG, blending classic Goa trance with cutting-edge production.
	•	Soul Connection – a deep and emotional project created together with Ori Maimon, exploring spiritual and melodic dimensions of electronic music.

In January 2025, Chen launched his own imprint, Psychotic Records, a platform for releasing his music under various aliases and collaborations with other talented artists.
