Hails straight out of Dime City Rhyme City aka The City That Sparkles, Kimberley.
Started developing interest in writing in his early teens and was inspired by the late and great Tupac Shakur, Notorious B.I.G. He also got influenced by P.O.C and their revolt music and for that reason this sparked some interest in him to pursue the arts as a way of using it as an expression tools. BlaqMyst, as he was formerly known as, started crafting his own poems and lyrics when he was in High School. Out of all his peers that he used to kick with, he has shown more persistence in pursuing a career in the music.
Has performed alongside *The Collective and has hosted some of the most prolific hip hop shows in his home town: WORST BEHAVIOUR; HEELS & LEGGINGS; PROPH'S STRANGE TIMES LAUNCH; Blaq-Out Sessions and Rhyme Beats & Skillz Sessions (organised by SPEEDY-VEE, MPHO, SNOWY and MICNIF') a defininOrganiserg period which ultimately let to Snowy winning the South African Hip Hop AWARD 2012 as King Of Northern Cape as an Events ) and of ALL GUNS BLAZING 2013/2014
He first established himself as a brand through the Kimberley Hip Hop Session (Mayibuye Hip Hop Sessions 2010-2012), HashBrown Sessions, (both held at Club Vibes), Maloof (Openheimer Gardens in 2012) Black Diamond (Biggle Dimera's Remedy 4ur Soul Kasi Tour) and recently toured with Remedy 4ur Soul and The Collective to Koffiefontein as part of brand development.
His debut EP titled Chronicles Of A Lyricist was released on his birth month in 2011 through Ghetto Life Akamadie Productions in 2011 with production from Killah_Beatz (a Kimberley based producer) and Propheseed (a Bloemfontein producer). The initial released tape contained 9 tracks which were mastered by DJ of Wrecked and Entertainment who also handled the artwork design creative process. The Extended Version thereof included appearances from Term's The Overdose Mixtape on Making It, Khool's The New Drug Mixtape on Kickness Sickness, Killah-Beatz' Heart Of The City Mixtape on Hip Hop and features fellow rapper TalibunDaLasNumba and of course the most hard hitting track titled #SOKHHA which is a n acronym for State Of Kimberley Hip Hop Affairs.

The title of his EP is self explanatory and basically is just a collection of his experiences and challenges he was faced with on a daily basis growing up. Every body can relate to his intricate story telling and also offers a few punches with his cunning deliveries on Fight Your Feelings and Kimberley Sickness to name a few.
The EP has the potential to compete with some of the best artists music in South Africa. Music is more like a mechanism for finding healing and escaping from all the madness out there. His single The Wrong Mrs Right which features T.P Star landed him on the number 1 spot on the RTS FM local radio Top 40 charts, which competed against international and local music. The song first made its entry at spot no. 40 and gradually rose to the top until it reached summit.
