Stoney V is a NuJazz, Neo Soul singer. Stoney was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, although she was raised in many different states. Her style of music is the chilled sound of Urban Hip Hop and R&B. Stoney V has the essence of familiar artist such as Amy Winehouse, Erykah Badu, Sade and Jill Scott. On the flip side, Stoney likes to say her music has a “Reggae Kik” for lack of a better term. Her music echoes the sounds of No Doubt, The Marleys and Sublime.
