As part of the BergWacht crew and BergWacht resident from the very beginning, Max Keck has been at home in the Cologne techno scene for a long time. In addition to organizing his own parties, he founded the duo TooL8 together with Sven Kirchner in 2011, where the name says it all - it's always too late for TooL8's live sets!
His talent for conjuring up a musical synthesis of the arts from clear beats, powerful basslines and catchy melodies has brought him four festival bookings in a row, both as a solo DJ and in the TooL8 project. So it goes without saying that Max had to become part of the Katzensprung Agency. With his keen sense for the pulse of a floor, he leads the dancing crowd through virtual sound structures, sometimes angular and morbid, sometimes dazzling and colourful. Max is not only an architect through and through in his other profession!


Max Keck ist als Teil der BergWacht-Crew und BergWacht-Resident der ersten Stunde schon lange in der Kölner Techno-Szene zuhause. Neben der Veranstaltung seiner eigenen Parties gründete er 2011 gemeinsam mit Sven Kirchner das Duo TooL8.
Sein Talent, aus klaren Beats, druckvollen Basslines und catchy Melodien ein musikalisches Gesamtkunstwerk zu zaubern, hat ihm als Solo-DJ wie auch im Projekt TooL8 einige Festival udn Club-Bookings beschert. Mit seinem feinen Gespür für den Puls eines Floors führt er die tanzende Crowd durch virtuelle Klanggebäude, mal eckig und morbide, mal schillernd und bunt.

Bio:
TooL8 (toolate) are Sven Kirchner alias Horst Koffer and Max Keck. With their live-sets these two Bergisch guys (residents of BergWacht) are a fixture of BergWacht for a long time and had their first label-signing with “Schmitzhöhe”, the debut release on BergWacht Records.
Horst and Max are tuning techno tracks since 2007 – and since the beginning of 2011 they are tuning together as TooL8. Their productions can be classed with melodic techno / techno, playful and harmonious, and often are like a pure blossoming of emotions and feelings, which they try to perform in their own manner.
They are BergWacht-Residents of the first hour since 2008, since Spring 2019 they are Part of the Katzensprung Festival own´s Agency Rooster also.

TooL8 (toolate) besteht  aus Sven Kirchner alias Horst Koffer und Max Keck,  Die beiden bergischen Jungs (BergWacht-Residents) gehören mit ihren Live-Sets schon lange zum BergWacht-Inventar und haben nun ihr erstes Label-Signing mit „Schmitzhöhe“ dem Debüt-Release auf  BergWacht Records.
Horst und Max schrauben seit 2007 an Techno Tracks und seit Anfang 2011 zusammen als TooL8.

Nach mehr als einem Jahrzehnt intensiver Beschäftigung mit elektronischer Musik und genügend Dancefloor-Erfahrung stand die Kölnerin JuNi aka Juli 2020 das erste Mal vor Publikum hinter den Decks. 
In den vergangenen Jahren hat sie sich durch gängige Kölner Clubs gespielt und als Fußabdruck stets ihren melodischen, treibenden und verspielten Sound hinterlassen.  
Musikalisch im Melodic Techno heimisch, wurde sie 2022 Resident bei der etablierten Partyreihe „BergWacht“, die 2023 ihr 15-jähriges Jubiläum feierte. Über die Jahre hat sich ihr Sound weiterentwickelt, bricht zunehmend die Genregrenzen zu Peak-Time Techno, Progressive House und Indie auf und ist immer für eine Überraschung gut. 
Die Musik und ihre Auftritte sind für JuNi Herzenssache. Sie hat sich auf die Fahne geschrieben, mit Nostalgie, Innovation und ein bisschen Wahnsinn stets dynamische und facettenreiche Sets zu kreieren, die einfach Spaß machen. 

After more than a decade of deep immersion in electronic music and ample dancefloor experience, the Cologne native JuNi, also known as Juli, stepped behind the decks in front of an audience for the first time in 2020.

Over the past years, she has made her way through well-known Cologne clubs, always leaving her mark with a melodic, driving, and playful sound. Musically rooted in Melodic Techno, she became a resident DJ for the established event series 'BergWacht' in 2022, which celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2023.

Throughout the years, her sound has evolved, increasingly breaking genre boundaries into Peak-Time Techno, Progressive House, and Indie, always ready to surprise. Music and her performances are matters of the heart for JuNi. She has made it her mission to create dynamic and multifaceted sets that are just plain fun, blending nostalgia, innovation, and a touch of madness.

Entsprechend der geplanten Veranstaltungen werden wir nach und nach unser Programm in virtuellen Mini-Formaten online stellen, zum anhören-sehen wann immer Ihr wollt.
