Later in the year the boys are stepping up to the decks together for us in Miami, London, LA and Vancouver as we build them into their special B2B US tour in November. Having been die-hard Toolroom fans for many years, this record actually came about during a conversation about old Toolroom records, and how they collectively wanted to emulate that slightly progressive tech house but bring it right up to date. D.Ramirez & Mark Knight wrote some incredible collabs back in the early days of Toolroom and really set the sound and vision of the label.

This stone-cold anthem 'Colombian Soul' first landed back in 2007; fast forward 10 years to the current time of 2020 and Sllash & Doppe give this track a brand new lease of life by means of a remix!

It really is signature stuff from this duo – With those warm tribal drums and rolling groove, you can tell instantly who's responsible. Like any great remix, they’ve been respectful to the original, keeping that dominant synth throughout whilst adding their own layers of steel-pan sounds and plenty of percussion.

Sllash & Doppe really inject their personalities into their productions and DJ sets. That is more than evident here and they are now fully part of the #ToolroomFamily!
