Acclaimed DJ, producer and label boss Riva Starr is excited to announce the first release from his brand-new imprint, Brock Wild, entitled ‘The Wickedest Sound’ EP. 
 
Riva Starr has always been respected by fans and fellow tastemakers for his ambitiousness and creativity in his productions. Just look at his back catalogue, ranging from Hip-Hop tinted tracks with UK titan Roots Manuva to regular collaborations with House legend Green Velvet, and you’ll see experimentation sits at the core of Riva and his other aliases.
 
Now, the Italian-Born London-based DJ/producer has founded Brock Wild, an imprint that specifically provides a platform to share left-field/bass heavy sounds, Riva explains: 

​​'I’ve always been fond of left-field beats and big bass, therefore due to my eclectic taste and past background as a Hip Hop, Dub, Drum & Bass and Breakbeat DJ I've now decided to launch a new SNATCH! sub-label called BROCK WILD that'll be devoted to these type of sounds.'  

The EP’s title-named track, ‘The Wickedest Sound’, kicks things off, serving up a free flowing, groove-laden cut that seamlessly blends elements of House, Hip-Hop and Breakbeat, encompassing; an abundance of lo-fi Rasta-esque vocal samples, ferocious synth blasts and an excellent use of dub-style effects.

We are already in November and after a big summer and fall for elrow Music, winter is coming! For the first time in elrow Music’s history, we are presenting a foursome of authors in an EP with two duos joining forces in the name of elrow Music. The British duos CamelPhat and Mat.Joe debut as a quartet in our label with a two tracker that goes by the name of ‘World In Action EP’. With the usual aesthetics of any elrow Music track, the EP opens up with ‘World In Action (Original Mix)’, that beside being the track title is the big killer of this work. With a slow but steady beginning, the song has a wonderful and techy progression that adds elements as it advances, with an amazing set of synths and a vocal line that reminds us any news report from our local channel with funny statements about acid house and electronic music. A real banger. Then we have ‘Bang 2 Drum (Original Mix)’, that starts with a different vibe, a more direct take into the dancefloor with crazy sound FX that run in the same line as the vocals, until the acid synth lines come into the game, twisting bodies and minds alike and with no mercy. Another great debut brought to you by elrow Music’s line of bangers, keeping the good vibes up for the coldest times of the year. Stay tuned for more!

Happy New Year! 2019 has just begun but we, at elrow Music, want to keep up the pace and the good vibes flowing with our music from the very beginning. That's why we've summoned two big names in the scene to start our year in full force.

Pirupa & Leon have teamed up to deliver this ERM 147, that goes by the name of 'Our Sound EP'. The two-tracker opens with 'Our Sound (Original Mix)', a track that starts with a very playful percussion, but soon becomes a trippy and organic affair, thanks to the atmosphere created by the organs, the synth melodies and the deep vocals. A true dancefloor killer.

'Now Walk (Original Mix)' is a complete different affair. It starts in full force with a perfectly recognizable techy progression and continues with an interesting vocal line. But make no mistake, this is a straight dancefloor breaker, with almost no melodies and both percussion and FX heavy. All in all, a great deliver by the Italian duo, that sets the bar high for the rest of this 2019. Challenge accepted! Stay tuned!
