The latest installment to the Love & Other Drugs compilation series comes true with 4 shiny new slabs of chunky tech house – each honing undeniable club understanding.

The EP begins with a hotly tipped piano jam on the titular ‘Sentilo’ from DJ Cameo, Myles & Gavin Francis – delivering a straight up club chugger with a moody mix of stabs, off shots and vocal murmurs. ‘Lucky Day’ continues on a similar vibe - from the illusive, nameless producer under_score (even we don’t know the mastermind behind the alias!) - providing an enigmatic sound, weaving between trance inducing rhythms, jittering voices and a healthy dose of low-end energy.

Next up on the bill, rising stars Mandal & Forbes provide their second contribution to the label with their piano led weapon ‘Gravity’ – refining a sound that delves into deeper territory for the twosome, whilst providing a distinctly 2016 tech house flavour. Rounding off the package in fine style Dantiez & Greco (NYC) provide arguably the heaviest track on the EP, featuring Joe Le Groove with their offering ‘The Night’ - aptly titled and purpose built for late night floors with the focus here being drums and groove.

It’s been 8 years since Paul Darey released his first record with Deeperfect and in that time there has been some outstanding music delivered through this fruitful partnership. But it’s safe to say that The Bomb is the pinnacle of Paul’s discography to date. The Bomb delivers everything we love in a record, huge grooving drums, tribal-edged percussion flurries, a subby bass that pounds your chest and a heavy helping of “magic pixie dust” that elevates the whole track to the next level. The payoff here is a massive throwback to classic New York house, that is delivered in a slick and understated fashion and is guaranteed to deliver hands in the air on the dance floor. This is the the kind of record that doesn’t come around all that often, and you can be sure it is one of those records… One of those Deeperfect records!

Teaming up with POK, the Spaniard knows how to lay down a summer forecast when taking it back to 'Ma Old Skul', uncomplicatedly classic club sounds keeping on the front foot, with the Mediterranean on its mind.

'Ma Old Skul' goes from coast to coast on the back of bongo-bounced beats, the right amount of cowbell and the funkiest of flexes on the bass to collect everyone from far and wide, steered by hip-hop samples blaring from a Southern low-rider (that are actually much closer to home). ‘T2’ marks the return of Toolroom’s collaboration concept album. 

‘T1’, released back in October 2015, was an album of new and exciting collabs from Toolroom’s roster at the time; celebrating our artists’ talents and challenging them creatively.  

At the height of lockdown in 2020, with our artists in isolation across the world, it felt like a good opportunity to bring back the series - and also help raise money for Covid-19 relief funds, with a percentage of profits going to charity. 

This time, we picked the collaborations totally at random. Drawn out of a hat by Mark Knight on a Facebook Live broadcast, 36 artists were paired up into 18 new studio partnerships.  Pairings like Amine Edge & DANCE and Maxinne; Alex Preston and Siege; Mat.Joe and Ben Remember; and Juliet Sikora and KC Lights, have resulted in the fusion of different styles, influences and ultimately an album of fresh and essential exclusive tracks. 

‘T2’ features 18 brand new tracks, with some out-of-the-box experiments and sure-fire bangers. Testament to the power of creation in isolation, and the unexpected magic of new collaborating artists at the top of their game.
