Bellavoid's 'Futurism Vol 1' is out on Monday on Beatport.

Toolroom Records is delighted to introduce the first in a series of EPs from new rising star Bellavoid with the enigmatic ‘Futurism Vol 1’.  

As the dance music scene continues to take over the world, Bellavoid has stepped out from the shadows with the sole intention of pushing the underground sound into the future. A champion of the underground scene, Bellavoid takes the past and present sounds of electronic dance music and combines them with his own blend of funk, house and tech to create unique and unforgettable productions.

‘Futurism Vol 1’ is a master class in production. Lead track, ‘Bounce’ is propelled by a raw and muscular rhythm, pushing a sinister bass and quirky vocal hook. ‘Seriously’ twists and turns between atmospheric breakdowns and ‘that’ trademark bass; whilst ‘Dance To The Death’ oozes analogue with its heavy bass and clever vocal lick.

‘Futurism Vol 1’ is just the start of Bellavoid’s journey into the future of house and is set to leave its mark for this new rising artist.

The second release in our Anniversary Remixes campaign sees one of our most iconic tracks, ‘Downpipe’, reinterpreted by the world’s No.1 DJ Armin van Buuren, Techno veteran Adrian Hour and new kid on the block Bontan.

‘Downpipe’, the collaboration between our label leader, Mark Knight, master of production, D.Ramirez, and legends of dance music, Underworld, is a landmark track in the history of Toolroom Records. Crowned Essential New Tune on Radio 1 by Pete Tong and forming an integral part of the soundtrack to the opening ceremony of the London Olympics last year, it is still receiving overwhelming support today.

Heading up The Anniversary Remixes of ‘Downpipe’, superstar DJ Armin van Buuren delivers up a euphoric, unstoppable, big room remix that is set to take to the throne & join the original. 
Adrian Hour presents a techno workout that is completely relentless, energetic from the off the intensity doesn’t let up resulting in a peak time gem for the underground. Finishing up the package is UK wonder kid Bontan, following his recent Top Ten he continues his reign delivering a stripped back bass line workout with Karl Hyde’s vocals cleverly chopped into the groove.

A tech house anthem and one of the scene’s most unforgettable tracks, The Anniversary Remixes sees ‘Downpipe’ transformed across three musical landscapes with unstoppable results.

'F For You' (Eats Everything Remix)

Disclosure’s ‘F For You’ ft Mary J Blige is set to get an Eats Everything make-over with a remix dropping on PMR this month. The record, belonging to Disclosure's Grammy nominated album ‘Settle’, has dominated the dance charts of late and Eats serves it a slice of added groove, making for a typically inviting dance floor track. 

Both acts have recently supported one another on recent dates, with Disclosure joining Eats Everything as a special guest at his XOYO residency and in return, Eats made a special appearance at Disclosure’s Alexandra Palace gig last weekend. Having a clear fondness for each other’s work, it was only a matter of time before a remix came to fruition.  Stripped back and built around his trademark punchy house template, Eats gives the original an altogether new dimension that is sure to make waves on both the radio and in the clubs.

Eats Everything kicked off 2014 with a brand new residency series at XOYO, London, with each date comfortably selling out. Alongside pioneering the resurgence of the residency to London’s nightlife, he’s been working his way around Europe too, touring some of the very best venues on the European club circuit.

The Disclosure remix is only the tip of the iceberg when when it comes to what Eats has lined up for the rest of the year. Rounding up the last few weeks of his XOYO residency, Eats will be releasing the ‘Hello Mr. Jello' EP alongside Justin Martin on Dirtybird Records and has a Hot Natured remix forecast, as well as a very exciting mix compilation in the pipeline.
