Masterfully rewoven and reedited by man of the moment Hardwell, Mark Knight and Funkagenda’s anthemic ‘Man With The Red Face’ has been reinterpreted into a fizzing big room, high energy mix crafted to fill the largest and loudest festival arenas. 

A monumental track in the history of Toolroom Records, Mark Knight and Funkagenda’s cover of Laurent Garnier’s ‘Man With The Red Face’ cemented the label’s position in the dance music scene, winning ‘Best Ibiza Track 2008’ at Pacha’s Ibiza DJ Awards and Beatport’s ‘Best Tech House Track of 2008’.

Since his first EP with Toolroom back in 2010, the synergy between Hardwell and the label has grown into a fruitful pairing that has laid witnessed to the chart topping single ‘Three triangles (Losing My Religion)’ and various appearance for the Toolroom parties that have spread around the world including a guest slot at the their former residency at Space in Ibiza.

Here at Toolroom Records, we culminate a massive ten week campaign charting a decade’s worth of releases with The Anniversary Remixes of one of our most influential tracks, Dave Spoon’s ‘At Night’.

Dave Spoon scored a massive dance hit with the release of ‘At Night’ in 2006. Featuring on no less than two dozen separate mix albums, the genre-bending ‘At Night’ epitomised the Toolroom sound of the time, merging elements of electro, house and tech to create a club favourite.

Now, in reverence to the part the track has played in Toolroom’s history, ‘At Night’ receives the remix treatment from Shadow Child and T. Williams, Tom Staar and Leonardo Gonnelli.

With his 2014 release of 'Collateral Effects' still riding high in the Beatport charts, EDX enters the new year with serious gusto for 'Remember House' - a punchy club construction that signals a departure from his signature sound - and is set for release on 2nd March via Enormous Tunes. 

Layering a deep bassline with infectious hi-hats and the old school-sounding vocal of 'Do You Remember House?', EDX hints at a new musical direction for 2015. Whilst keeping his trademark, up-beat progressive stylings, 'Remember House' comes through with heaps of energy of a modern club banger. 

Having carved a long-standing career that's recently seen him complete an incredible 25 date 'Progression of Sound' tour of the US, EDX is a producer with many strings to his bow. As well as a regular output of releases, Maurizio Colella aka EDX delivers a monthly radio show named 'No Xcuses,' which showcases the latest and greatest in electronic music. He's also a member of up and coming Swiss collective Helvetic Nerds.
