'Better' features vocals from Jena Asciutto, a US vocalist who rose to prominence on national television before signing with leading agency Metatone: "When I first heard Jena's topline I was blown away by it. She has such a great voice and I love the delivery and emotion it has." On creating 'Better' with Ferreck, Jena says that the infectious track "touches on a spectrum of different inspirations. Ranging from self-love and acceptance to setting the standard in a relationship. You can have all of me or nothing at all."

A Dutch powerhouse who in 2024 played for the London label at Wembley’s OVO Arena, the summer season at Ushuaïa Ibiza, its flagship festival in Croatia and world tour stop in Toulouse, Ferreck continues to rep Defected on an international level - now preparing for the label’s season at Pacha Ibiza. His busy touring schedule was matched by his Defected output, working with Maverick Sabre, New Machine, GUZ, MEDUZA and Clementine Douglas on a string of tracks last year. Returning to the label in 2025, Ferreck collaborates with Caroline Byrne, a prolific dance music singer / songwriter who has previously featured on tracks with Gorgon City, Tudor, and TSHA. ‘Make Me Weak’ is a groovier, more synth-laden outing for Ferreck, spotlighting Caroline’s airy topline layered in harmony, creating a vocaloid-like effect that aligns perfectly with Ferreck’s signature, hard-hitting production.
