For our next release of 2023, we’re back with a label debut from an artist we’ve been keeping an eye on for a while now, none other than Stoke-On-Trent’s very own DJ and producer, Eden Prince, who lands on Toolroom’s Trax imprint with brand-new single, ‘Take It To The Rhythm’.

Growing up in London, Eden’s passion for music production began as a child when he stumbled across beat-making software while looking for games on his cousin's computer. After constantly being caught sneaking into his school studios after-hours to work on hip-hop beats, Eden’s music teacher persuaded him to go to Leeds College of Music, where he honed in on his skills and developed a real taste for House music.

With a locker full of remixes, over 250 million+ streams on Spotify and plenty of originals on labels including Mad Decent, Ultra, Atlantic, D4 D4NCE and Solotoko, it seems he’s only just getting started. Born from one of Toolroom’s infamous writing camps, ‘Take It To The Rhythm’ is a crisp and energetic cut featuring robust drums, a rumbling low-end, perky percussion and a powerful bass hook with exciting breaks and builds throughout; another club groover that is going to go off in 2023!

Keeping the heat turned UP, Toolroom are back again with another fresh debut, this time from Italian DJ and producer Nausica, with her percussive Tech House roller 'Tomalo'. Meaning “Take It” in Spanish, ‘Tomalo' is a record that takes full control of the dance floor with a driving groove, rolling Tech House bass line and fiery percussion.

Matched with that quirky vocal that rides away throughout, ‘Tomalo’ is a straight up club banger, set to tear up 2023 and with early support from John Summit, Jamie Jones and Toolroom’s own Mark Knight, it’s safe to say that ‘Tomalo’ is shaping up to be a DJ’s favourite this year!

Gary Tuohy is a highly respected DJ and producer hailing from Ireland, with a career spanning over two decades. He has released music on some of the biggest labels in house music, including Defected, Toolroom, and CR2 Records, whilst his tracks have been played and supported by some of the biggest names in the industry, including Carl Cox, Roger Sanchez, and David Guetta.

His latest collaboration with Dirty Secretz, "Love On My Mind," is a stunning display of their combined talents. Dirty Secretz is a respected producer known for releasing tracks on notable labels including Nervous, Phoenix, Madtech, Stealth, and Skint. As a Pioneer DJ ambassador, his skills have earny a reputation in the industry for his use of cutting-edge hardware to deliver stunning performances with live elements, on-the-fly remixing, and unique edits. 

The track is a soulful and uplifting house anthem, with a funky bassline, infectious vocals, and catchy piano chords. Dirty Secretz and Gary Tuohy's production skills are on full display here, with expertly crafted percussion, smooth transitions, and a perfectly balanced mix. The track is a testament to their love for house music and their dedication to delivering quality tracks that stand the test of time.
