A life-long friend of Toolroom since it’s inception and absolute legend of the electronic music scene, Shadow Child debuts on the label with ‘Rising High’. His career within this alias spans an impressive 12 years, kicking things off back in 2012 with ‘String Thing’; a record snapped up by Claude von Stroke’s Dirytbird label that simply took the dance world by storm.

From that point onwards a consistent flow of strong releases have appeared from his shadowy lair and been unleashed onto the dancefloors of the world to devastating effect. Labels including Hot Creations, Apollo Music and Moda Black have released his music, attracting a loyal fanbase in the process. Regular DJ spots include the mighty Fabric in London, Warehouse Project in Manchester and Motion in Bristol. This record fuses all of Shadow Childs passions; old skool rave, techno and let’s not forget that incredible vocal sample from ‘The Beloved’. A modern-day house record with a nod to the past, this one will appeal to DJ’s and radio folk alike, as we welcome shadow Child to the Toolroom Family!

This exciting duo have cemented a name for themselves as one of the most exciting new dance acts to emerge from the UK in recent years. They have already worked with the scene’s elite including Solardo, Goodboys and most recently, Becky Hill on her brand new single ‘Never Be Alone’.

They amassed almost 30m streams last year alone across key platforms and graced the decks at the legendary Tomorrowland festival last Summer. Their Toolroom debut dropped in 2023, an epic collab called ‘Over’ with Westend, and this brand new single raises the bar even higher.

It sounds like a real progression in sound. Maintaining incredible melody throughout with that signature synth sound, but yet adding some disco-influenced bounce along the way, and the result is another dance floor weapon to add to the ever-growing Maur armoury! 2024 will be an incredible year for these talented producers and we are proud to have them as an integral part of the Toolroom Family.

Hotswing returns to Toolroom hot on the heels of his club weapon ‘Feel It’ that dropped late in 2023 which saw an abundance of top-tier DJ’s providing support including Carl Cox, Claptone and Jamie Jones. He was crowded Beatport’s #1 selling Jacking House artist last year and he’s recently been causing mayhem on the legendary Elrow dance floors. 

The Italian native continues to lay down his trademark club-laced beats here with ‘Sensation’; another solid club weapon with bundles of dance floor energy, slick stabs and an infectious vocal. This one slaps!

This dynamic Scottish duo first released on Toolroom 10 years ago back in 2014 and went on to become a main-stay and fan favourite of the label. Tracks such as ‘Shout’, ‘Promise’ and most famously, ‘So Serious’, propelled them to be one of the most exciting and sought after acts in the World. They were snapped up by label giants, Ultra for a 10 singles recording deal and have since graced the hallowed 1’s and 2’s at some of the hottest spots on the Planet, including Printworks in London, Firehouse in San Diego and Ushuaia in Ibiza where they played alongside Calvin Harris and MK.

OFFAIAH appears on Toolroom for the first time in his career under this alias, although he was a firm part of the original Toolroom Family line up as Michael Woods. So this is a SPECIAL ONE! He is a premier act on his own merit, known for his low-slung house beats, appearing on leading imprints such as Defected and Armada Subjekt and selling out arenas all over the Globe on a weekly basis.

The record itself screams sun-drenched terraces, pool parties and chilled cocktails! A huge bass line, infectious tribal vocals and some lush house pianos for good measure.
