How would today's trance hits sound if they were to be played in true bossa nova style? Black Hole Recordings decided to put the question to the test and the end result is "Trancelations To Bossa"; giving us all the perfect answer. 

For this release, professional bands were assigned to fuse sizzling Latin American sounds with 12 famous trance hits. Based on the arrangements of the original tracks, the musicians created an exciting melting pot of styles, which led to unique bossa versions of Andain's "Beautiful Things", Tiësto featuring BT's "Love Comes Again", JES' "Imagination", Cosmic Gate featuring Emma Hewitt's "Not Enough Time" and many more.

 This album is the best of the  Carmen Cuesta-Loeb. It is somewhere between jazz, pop, bossa nova, latin and world music, the CD is very eclectic, containing 14 well chosen songs that are superb standards. Her beautiful silky sensual voice manages to pass on tranquility and peace. She counts with the handy help of her husband, the guitar virtuoso Chuck Loeb with awesome guitar work and extra arrangements and production. The album has Guest appearances of top class musicians such the great sax wizard Michael Brecker (who sadly passed away recently), Bob James, Nelson Rangell, Till Brönner, Dave Mahn, Matt King and others add an extra spice. This is a awesome CD, a must have for good taste music lovers.
