“Nothing in this life worth living is easy” states Silent T, expressing his sentiments on his fledgling music career as it continues its upwards trajectory towards take off.  Nothing has come easily to T, yet he continues to fuel a fire from within himself to push forward, no matter the obstacle in his path.

Starting in 2011, Silent T brought his Midwestern roots with him to Tampa, FL, where he began honing his craft as a lyricist to pass the time during rehab from various baseball injuries.  He became addicted to the game of punchlines where he strove to deliver the best and the most clever, and developed an ability to tell a story through his words, all of which were shaped by his experiences.  His academic pursuits brought him from Tampa to the Triangle in North Carolina (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill), but this hasn’t stopped T one bit: in fact, he’s upped the ante, having released a seven track EP titled “Like You’ve Been There Before." He released a single in October of 2016 titled "Remember My Name," featuring singer Crystal Hilaire and produced by John "J-Mac" McCall.

Citing some of his musical influences as Fabolous, Ryan Leslie, Drake, and J. Cole, T wants to leave a mark on the genre, push limits, and be a polarizing figure.  It’s time for him to go where others haven’t and where others won’t, and its time for the world to learn, then remember, his name.
