 This is SNGVA003, the third compilation from Sengiley Recordings, featuring fresh breakbeat and drums cuts, produced by new and established artists from around world. 

Dylan Dylan gets things started with a slice of deep, UKG style beats, Marc Brauner & Jimbo Mack collaborate and make a continuation of the UKg vibe with a German flavour, followed by Foreach with a serious dose of uplifting breakbeat business. Togethrs produces some sublime drum & bass sounds, and Minor Sine Project brings us vibey, acid breaks. Jordan Raymond supplies some atmospheric, laid back rhythms, followed by Nørus & DJ WHIPR SNIPR who drop a powerful chunk of bassline orientated material. Withheld brings the heat with an extended, melodic breakbeat excursion and lastly, Florian winds things down with a deep and blissful track that serves up luscious pads and ingenious rhythms. Steppin’ out with their first VA release since the label’s inception in 1995, Worldship Music follows up the release of underground sensation Roberta’s The Brooklyn Ave Sessions with Herald Traccs Vol. 1. The record is a (mostly) LA based affair, starting with Jam’s Theme, a clever flip of a classic from veteran producer and former Underground Resistance member Santiago Salazar. Next up is En Echo, a deep and dubby affair from Echo Park’s Kelvin K, a seminal figure in SF’s early 00’s house scene. Label owners Teflon Dons open the B side with a tough, deep garage cut that would have likely set the UK garage scene on fire. Unfinished since '98, the Dons thankfully revisited this lost classic for some finishing touches. Rounding out the release is the mysterious Westcoast Goddess, whose First Tear emotes a melancholy beauty reminiscent of Hanna’s early work. Heading strong into their 26th year, underground house music is here to stay with Worldship. Look out for volume 2, the hunger continues…

Half Spanish, half Lebanese, Rakim Under was born in Chile, grew up in Memphis and Spain and is now based in London.

Listening to his debut EP for M.A.D. Records, it’s easy to hear his exotic heritage very much reflected in his music.

Karim effortlessly covers many styles, ranging from Latin house to Bollywood infused breaks and electro, all under pinned with his distinct hi-pressure bass lines.

As a DJ, Rakim has a taste for a variety of musical styles, where genre has no limit. Selecting from his painstakingly curated record collection, even the deepest of diggers will walk away having had their ears opened, failing that, he’ll at least make you dance your ass off.

When not playing on his own, he is a resident at his own event, Soursopp where he often plays alongside David Triana at what is quickly becoming one of the best parties in London and beyond.

Fresh off the critically acclaimed “Capichone EP” on Peach Discs, Nachtbraker takes us on a blazing journey! The tight drum patterns, vigorous and heartwarming pads, bolstered with his signature bass lines, will have you reminiscing on 90’s Dutch House Music.

In the driver’s seat, anthemic title track “Dondoni” gears up with a vivacious synth pad and galvanic bass line whilst, in the passenger seat, “Barkuchi Fus" goes full throttle on multi-layered melodies and pads. In the back seat we find the original mix of “Don’t Worry” with a cleverly alternating arrangement and intricate sound design.

Rounding out the package, you’ll find Treviso (IT) based Slow Life affiliate Paolo Mosca flips “Don’t Worry” into an epic feast of arpeggios and melodies on some nifty and steadfast drum work.
