Papa Records are back with a 3rd release for 2025 as we present the Diplomats Of Soul featuring Incognito & Vanessa Haynes – "Never Gonna Fall in Love Again (Like I Fell in Love With You)" and the Micky More & Andy Tee Remixes.

"Never Gonna Fall in Love Again (Like I Fell in Love With You)" is a tender love song written & performed by Paul Anka, originally released on his album “The Painter” in 1975. Paul Anka, a Canadian-American singer and songwriter, was a prolific artist who gained fame in the 1950s and sustained his popularity through the decades. His ability to craft memorable melodies and heartfelt lyrics contributed to his lasting legacy in the music industry.

Mike Allin & Ralph Tee, aka Diplomats Of Soul, teamed up with Jean-Paul ‘Bluey’ Maunick and his legendary enterprise, Incognito, to rework this Soul classic in 2020. The gorgeous interpretation was topped off with the soulful vocals of chanteuse Vanessa Haynes and was released on Ralph’s long-standing & hugely respected Expansion Records.

Michele Mingo and Andrea Tonici, better known as Micky More & Andy Tee, are elite house music producers. Their extensive catalogue of remixes features iconic artists such as Incognito, Joey Negro, Miguel Migs, Jocelyn Brown, Barbara Tucker, Richard Earnshaw, and more. As founders and owners of the GROOVE CULTURE brand, they helm a record label synonymous with high-quality dance music, consistently topping the charts on Traxsource and other prominent platforms. This is the first single from my forthcoming boogie EP, Reachin' Out (28.02.2025).
Its long intro pays tribute to the extended mixes that filled early '80s clubs, honoring legendary producers and remix pioneers like Larry Levan, François K, John Morales, Jellybean, Tony Humphries... It then transitions into an uplifting modern disco anthem 🎶

I've been playing it for a while now, and I'm thrilled to finally share it with you all!

Here's a little tribute to Quincy Jones and LA, as part of "Too Slow To Disco" label new compilation whose proceeds will go to MUSICARES, an organization helping musicians affected by the recent Southern California wildfires. 

In this remix I revisited Quincy's classic 1981 song "The Dude", featuring a dream team of musicians like James Ingram on vocals, Herbie Hancock and Steve Wonder on some keys and...a young Michael among the choir.

The chunky "You Decide" is a brand new slice of modern boogie-fied house built around a killer Malavasi-style chord progression. For those who shy away from a full song, check Maurissa’s Message, in which an old-school answering machine takes centre stage, whilst also bringing some of the jazzier instrumentation to the fore. This is my new edit of the Re-Disco series, I think it doesn't need any further introduction. It's a song from 1980 by a Punk Rock band, it's a track with Hip Hop, Disco and Funk connotations, influences given by the meeting with Nile Rodgers and Chic during their short stay at the Power Station, but with my contribution it became even more disco, a RE-DISCO indeed.
