Babwah Entertainments - Where do we start? Two brothers with parents from the beautiful island of Trinidad & Tobago who migrated to #ME7 Medway. They had 4 children, the smartest being Ricky and the most popular one Nicky. The other two, no one knows who they are.

 

Anyway, music was, all they had, it was in the blood, the brothers were influence by the Caribbean vibe and the UK upbringing meaning UK Garage, House, Funky, Grime & DnB were part of the daily music listening. The true love really came as they grew older and were able to travel back to their parents’ home country and listen to Soca, Dancehall, Reggae, Chutney & Calypso. The variety of music influence shows through as the sound is so versatile in mixing genres and adapting the music style dependent on the party. They can’t help but drop some Soca in a Garage rave or Dancehall in a DnB dance after all it’s in the blood!

Dj Roots is a member of a legendary International Sound System called Touch Above Sound  that originates from London Hackney, England. They have performed all over various countries in Europe as well as England  With a rich and varied career that spams over 3 years, DJ Roots Also a multi genre dj Which Does Regular Bookings & Plays At Londons Most Prestige Carnival, Notting Hill Carnival as well as Hackney Carnival just to name a few. This Summer will see DJ Roots headline the MaddersRAVE event.
