Soul, Funk, Blues and Rock are the musical styles that shape the sound of Unsuspected Soul Band - a new Brazilian soul band that will groove the crowd into dancing all night, around the country and beyond!

Both in his compositions, as well as in versions of classic songs, Unsuspected Soul Band re-creates the spirit of the vast musical heritage known as black music, that has been rocking generations for decades - and which today is more popular than ever. The band presents a exciting repertoire of both old and new classics, performing songs by Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and Jackson Five, Otis Reading, James Brown, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Donny Hathaway, Joe Cocker, Simply Red, Elvis Presley, Al Green and many others.

The band is ready to bring down the house with an line-up of experienced musicians, consisting of Fabiano Negri (formerly Rei Lagarto, vocals), Yon Berry (former Rei Lagarto, bass guitar), Ric Palma (guitar), Eliezer Oliveira (guitar), and Cesar Pinheiro (drums), as well as other supporting musicians. 

With the sole purpose of providing a highly engaging and exciting performance, Unsuspected Soul Band strives for technical excellence and exquisite musicianship, as well as maintaining the "high spirits" that are typical of the black music performances.

The band also shows great care in maintaining visual and scenic consistency with the musical styles it covers. Be it choosing the right musical instrument, a suitable wardrobe, or the perfect arranjement to complement the black music repertoire, Unsuspected Soul Band is ready to go the extra mile to excel in every single of their performances.

Being also an authoring band, Unsuspected Soul Band just released their first EP, "Let Me Groove You". This enhanced EP presents with five songs produced and recorded by the band, as well as enhanced content consisting of two music videos, photo gallery, mp3 collection, and other information about the band.

The album - which was recorded in Minster Studios, Campinas, SP - has in the song "Unsuspecting" it's first Single. A new music video is now being produced by the band for the "Unsuspecting" single, and should be realeased shortly.

The remaining tracks of the album are "I'd Do It All Again For You" (also from Unsuspected Soul Band) and versions for the classics "I Want You Back" (Jackson 5), "Vehicle" (The Ides of March) and "Signed, Sealed, Delivered... I'm yours" (Stevie Wonder).

The first public performace of Unsuspected Soul Band took place in Campinas, at the the prestigious "Sebastian Bar", on March, 25th. It was a smash hit, with a full house, lots of interaction between the band and the audience, in a fantastic night plenty of great moments.

On April 2012 Unsuspected Soul Band starts it's first national tour, to promote the band and it's first album, the enhanced EP "Let Me Groove You". The band is also in the process of composing the first full album, still without a realease date.
