It was during the trying times of the Covid-19 lockdown when Emma decided to explore the art of mixing. In 2022, Emma’s talent and dedication was recognised when she showcased her skills at the esteemed DJLabs Showcase. I am excited to share the recording of my set recorded this past weekend at Quantum Awakening Festival in New Jersey during our fun Sunday night / Monday morning session featuring Luis M, Evil Oil Man, Manuman and myself on the techno stage.

This set features a ton of new unreleased AlpaKa tunes as well as some of my other favorites! I ended up playing 4-6am Monday morning for the sunrise.

We are extremely thrilled to welcome Psytechno commandeer AKA NINA onboard our beloved podcast! 

AKA NINA, born and raised in Switzerland. 
One decade ago she found herself drawn into the heart of the techno scene in Berlin. This is where she dedicated her time to studying sound engineering and music production, and here she also started to DJ on a regular base.

Her music style varies from minimalistic dark and groovy beats to more intense and hypnotic techno. In both, her production and in her DJ sets, Nina aims to combine classic techno elements with psychedelic and organic sound design.

Representing xXETEXx, a well-established crew in the electronic Berlin scene. With plenty high-quality releases in her career with Soupherb Records, Occultech Recordings, Digital Structures, Padang Records, Pointzero Rec, Psy4Aliens, Zenon Records and Kafka Tempo.

Nina has had the pleasure of performing at famous festivals, like Boom Festival, Modem Festival, Fusion Festival, Masters of Puppets, Shankra FestivaL, Fora de Tempo, Odyssee and many more including HillTop Goa!
