Out on Friday October 11th is the speaker-rattling original track "Without You" by Los Angeles-based DJ and producer Jon Gilman aka @racket-club. This is the 11th release from Top Shelf Disco, an events-based record label also based in Los Angeles. "Without You" features an onslaught of percussion from layered hi hats to tom hits to piccolo snare rolls but what really stands out is the thumping bass line and infectious vocals singing "There ain't nothin' to ease the pain without you". Teetering the lines between UK-style House music, soul, and Nu Disco this track has something for every dance music lover, especially if you can get behind the blistering organ solo at the breakdown. "Without You" is Racket Club's debut on Top Shelf Disco, to which he also lends an ear for its A&R efforts. On the heels of "Without You" will be a remix package containing three remixes of the record, with each one bringing a different flavor to the masses. Everyone at Top Shelf Disco is very excited for this one and they hope you are too!
