Niterunner is a brother sister synth pop trio based in Brisbane/Byron Bay. Music always underpinned the lives of these siblings, growing up in a musical household influenced by a father who had been a DJ and an owner of a record store in his younger years. 

Strangely enough, Andrea, Daniel and Cale Suesskow only came together as adults to create music, escaping their busy lives as a Veterinary Nurse, Chef and Entrepreneur to create a fresh sound that reflects the laid back dreamy vibe of growing up in Northern NSW. Initially, Niterunner was a solo project of Daniel’s, until Andrea began writing and singing for his production in 2014. In 2017 Cale (1/4 of Mitzi) joined with the addition of drums for their debut live performance, crafting Niterunner’s sound into the energetic and nostalgic full family affair it is today. 

Niterunner is often compared to the likes of Postiljonen, M83, Anna of the North, St Lucia and LANY, featuring dreamy synth pop soundscapes, soulful electronic vocals and 80’s inspired production. In their short time of live performances, Niterunner has supported the likes of Phebe Starr, Saskwatch, Jack River, Tiga, World Champion and Patrick Topping.

Ballroom Collective is a new artistic network focusing on 70’s & 80’s inspired Electronic music as well as dreamy Chillout & Electronic-pop in Australia.

I started long time ago when I was 16 years old as a DJ working on several Radio Stations in Barcelona . In some of them I shared studios with wellknown DJ’s nowadays.I used to make Radio Shows based on Funky Disco genres. My most wellknown radio show was called “FunkYonky” .Later and due to my engineering background studies specialized in Sound & Image at University I collaborated with some other radio programmes of electronics devices and radio amateur. Actually I still have the hobby of radio amateur with my own callsign EA3HQI as well as other hobbies like being a magician or travelling with my California van. Since I finished University I have been involved with my own company in the field of electronics and nowadays I come back into the DJ world with a lot of enthusiasm. I played in several Beach Clubs , Rooftops Hotels , discotheques ,etc... . My favourites genres are still the same than when I was 16 but actually I really enjoy remembering such a 80-90’s music tracks in a re-edit House/Tech version style .
