Joel K Feeney is a lead guitarist singer songwriter based in Barcelona. Having played in many groups and projects in Barcelona his music has been described as psychedelic folk rock reggae blues! He was raised ion the UK listening to The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, The Who, Madness, Talking Heads, vai, Satriani, GnR, and many more before developing a keen taste for the electric guitar. His song lyrics are passionate and powerful and range from love to war and politics.
After Band de Bandidos split Joel played with local country and folk group The Melenas who then became The country Ghosts.
Joel played for a while with The Raval String Band: Old time Folk, which is now The La Floresta Old Time String Band but Joel has chosen to go back to his roots and focus on being a fully fledged expressive guitar maniac. SVVIM is an alt pop singer, songwriter, producer and one man band. Hailed by BBC Introducing as "making music to the same calibre of Bon Iver'', his influences vary from Lauv to London Grammar, Phil Collins to Bon Iver and The National. He’s a sucker for sad songs and love songs. Born in Exeter, Devon, SVVIM is not a huge talker and keeps himself to himself, however, he really finds his voice when songwriting, producing and performing. Music to him is an emotional release, a way to empty out whatever is going on inside his head at the time. Sometimes happy, sometimes sad, but always hitting you with the feels. In April 2020 he started working on producing all of his own upcoming material and brought in gold and platinum record certified songwriter and producer Jack Gourlay for the mixing.
