> Torc has been doing this for the better part of 15 years now, and is taking a new generation of producers with him on the journey on his Underdog YouTube channel. Now that dancefloors have re-opened he looks forward to getting in front of them again, uniting people in dark sweaty rooms, opening up portals in space and time with stroboscopic sound sculptures. Born and raised in the island of Guam, ZODIACNAT has risen to be one of the top female DJs in Micronesia. Known for her dark, seductive track selections, her sets transport you underground to a world submerged in sinister melodies, rolling basslines, and hypnotic vocals. Throughout her DJ career she has maintained residency in all of Guam's hottest clubs, as well as performing in Saipan, the Philippines, Palau, Singapore, and Detroit, with the rest of the world still on her list.

CMND CTRL Recordings introduces their next release,
CTRL013, with 4 tracks of dark hypnotic Techno perfect for the
start of the Fall season. The label welcomes back Munich based producer Alex Asci 2 well-crafted original tracks that are
remixed by Vinicius Honorio and The Unborn Child. Track 1 is
“Facing The Wind” and Alex brings an absolute analogue
crusher to this original work. Thick distorted kicks and
percussion glide along as looping synth plucks slowly work their
way into the mix. A perfect tool for the late-night dancefloor.
London-based Brazilian producer Vinicius Honorio is first
up on rework duties. In addition to his own Liberta Records
label, Vini has also cut tracks for labels such as Suara,
Symbolism, and Planet Rhythm. He does not disappoint on this
remix that is dark and dirty with sultry ambient tones driven by
swinging percussions and dark synth stabs. Nice changeups
throughout the track make this a perfect DJ tool for the lovers
of Techno.
Alex showcases his production talent yet again with his
track “Simulations”. A fast-moving mix with bleeping synths,
punchy kicks, and sharp percussions all held together with
winding ambient sounds and cleaver EQ fx. This track has
received heavy rotation by DVS1, Rene Wise, and Richie
Hawtin.
Lastly, we have Spain’s very own Hard Techno producer
The Unborn Child on remix. With releases on Fever, Illegal
Alien, and Unterwelt, he has been making waves in Techno as
of late. No time is wasted here as hard punching kicks and thick
layered ambient sounds start things off with a bang. Clever
changeups on the breaks keep things interesting as he tops it
off with loud ringing industrial tones and out-of-this-world fx.
Another release for CMND CTRL that continues to redefine
what a Techno label should be.

Berlin-based Dj/Producer BB Deng was born in Hong Kong and raised in Taiwan.

She started her music career playing in rock bands and was a resident DJ in clubs in Taipei. In 2004 she moved to Beijing for her Film study, but she didn't let go her passion for music and in 2008 she opened a club named "The Boat" - a real boat that combines live performances, DJ parties and film screenings. She later joined China's first electronic music label "Acupuncture Records" and helped organize countless parties, including the famous INTRO electronic music festival. 

In 2016 she got signed with the British electronic music equipment brand Novation as its first Taiwanese ambassador. Same year, she joined the family of Chinese booking agency Modernsky, and began touring festivals and clubs around the world, from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Mongolia to Germany, Netherland, Switzerland, France, Croatia, Austria, Finland, Poland and Spain.

In 2018, BB Deng started releasing her own productions. From German labels – Sound of Berlin, Kuukou Records, Be Sure, Fehler Musik, Elektrotribe - to other national labels such as Reload Black Label (Spain), Blackat Label (Miami), Minitech (Amsterdam), Set Of The Day (Switzerland), ABC Boyler Coalition (Italy) to Fallen Angel (USA) and Industrial Girls (Colombia).

Same year, she moved to Berlin to continue her performances and production works, created her own music & event label in 2022 – Ego Riot, with the focus sounds of EBM, Industrial /Hard Techno & Dark Electro.

Alexa Borzyk began her musical journey at the age of 8 as a violinist and a self-taught guitarist at the age of 15. After many years of involvement in Montreal’s Psytrance scene, her journey towards techno began as a collector of Dance music during her time in nursing school. 

Her trademark of high energy and spikes of 90s techno is born deep in the crate where she digs up her Belgian/Polish roots. From enigmatic breakbeat and trance samples offering elements of nostalgia, Alexa invites the audience's participation whose musical appreciation eclipses that of just one genre.

Since 2016, having played Illusion Festival, the SATosphere, Salon Daomé, Stereo, and Piknic Elektronic, Montreal’s techno scene is familiar with Alexa’s sound. From opening duties for Richie Hawtin and Reinner Zonneveld to playing along with acts such as VTSS and Stephanie Sykes in self-produced events at Le Livart and Entrepôts Dominion. 

Her first release of 2022 was a 4-track EP debuting on the Belgian techno label Coincidence Records. In her young career, her track has earned its play at the world-renowned Tomorrowland by Nur Jaber, which was live-streamed from the festival. With her knowledge of production and passion for music, she doesn’t plan to stop releasing anytime soon.
