Born in musical hotspot Memphis, multilingual artist Katana explores her sound and her art with her newfound hobby- rapping. Although sometimes, expression of views or particular emotions dominates a track such as her song “Alone.” She always been a poet writing on her own little rhythm, but now, she’s ready to spit a quick bar on a quick beat like her song “Tsukuyomi.” She loves excitable music that can amp up the room or loosen you up at a party. She’s been influenced from her favorite artists: Nicki Minaj, Polo G , Billie Eilish, Juice Wrld, & XXXTENTACION. Memphis artists Moneybagg Yo, NLE Choppa & Pooh Sheisty inspire the young artist to make it out of her city one way or another. She continues to learn from and study the greatest. Be on the look out for the young artist’s unique sounds.
