While it can be difficult to decide whether the sonic landscapes Jon Jenkins creates should be classified as electronic, ambient, new age, chillout, instrumental rock or any number of other categories being used these days, there is no doubt about it's lasting impact on listeners.

Jenkins' albums have been found in Amazon.com Editors Top Ten best of the year lists, named "Critic's Choice" by Billboard Magazine, won album of the year awards in both the Ambient and Electronic categories, and ranked among the best CDs of the last 20 years in NPR's Echoes Radio 20th Anniversary list; and his music has been heard in movie trailers, TV programs, and sports broadcasts including The Olympics

Most recently, Jenkins has teamed up with David Helpling on a multi award-winning collaboration entitled "The Crossing."
