Colonial Blue is a 3-piece Indie Band hailing from Houston, Texas. The members of the band are - Stephanie Rice, Corey Chierighino, and Jonathan Ward. All are multi-instrumentalists with over 25 years combined playing experience between them. The band formed in the Summer of 2013 when Stephanie began collaborating with Corey, and Jonathan joined the band in the summer of 2014. They found a signature sound in their diversity of backgrounds and musical tastes. Sonically, each song they craft has wonderful dynamics that will drive the listener on a journey through the melody and message. While you can hear the many influences in their music, they truly have a unique and engaging sound. The combination of what each member brings to the table melds into a cross-genre auditory experience. Their music is indie with strong hints of folk, pop and folk-rock.

Keine Frage: Sarah Lesch ist eine Liedermacherin, die verbal hinlangen kann, die personifizierte Verzauberung mitsamt integriertem bösem Erwachen: Ihre Lieder handeln von Familie, Freundschaft und Verlust, von Liebe, Leichtigkeit und Friedensfrikadellen, aber auch von Heuchelei, Ausbeutung und Ignoranz. Irgendwo zwischen Multikultur, Globetrotter und fein gesponnenem Seemannsgarn, da findet man Sarah Lesch mit ihrer Ukulele. 

Ihr Debütalbum „Lieder aus der schmutzigen Küche“ erschien 2012 noch in kompletter Eigenregie – geschrieben und aufgenommen in, genau, ihrer Küche, selbst gestaltet und über die eigene Website verkauft. Anfangs noch als Geheimtipp gehandelt, erspielte sich die Chansonedde durch ihre vielen Live-Auftritte schnell ein begeistertes, treues Publikum. Verwundern kann das nicht, spielt Sarah Lesch live doch nicht nur auf der Ukulele oder der Gitarre – sondern vor allem auch auf der emotionalen Klaviatur ihrer Zuhörer. Versonnen und verschmitzt, verklärt und verführerisch.

Celebrating its 10-Year Anniversary as a band, Celtic-American Roots music “super group”, RUNA, continues to push the boundaries of Irish folk music into the Americana and roots music formats. Interweaving the haunting melodies and exuberant tunes of Ireland and Scotland with the lush harmonies and intoxicating rhythms of jazz, bluegrass, flamenco and blues, they offer a thrilling and redefining take on traditional music.
 
In conjunction with the band’s 10-Year Anniversary Tour, RUNA is set to release their sixth album “TEN: The Errant Night” on March 16th, 2019!
 
Seeking to preserve and continue a traditional culture in a modern age, RUNA creates the backbone of its signature roots sound from the musical and geographical diversity of its individually established band members.  Their strive for excellence and creativity blazes a trail for the future of folk music, earning them the reputation as one of the most innovative Irish folk groups of this generation.
 
RUNA consists of vocalist and step-dancer, Shannon Lambert-Ryan of Philadelphia, Dublin-born guitarist, Fionán de Barra, Cheryl Prashker of Canada on percussion, Jake James of New York on the fiddle, and Caleb Edwards of Nashville on mandolin and vocals.
