Absolutely on music, Torture the Artist's monthly radio show on [sic]nal airs from the famous bunker in St. Pauli, namely the Übel & Gefährlich club. Hosted by Marc Wolf and Holger Breuer the show is all about music, featuring up- and coming music as well as shortly released tracks. For the November episode Hamburg artist trio Falk, Natalie and Max, better known under their RSS Disco moniker, visited the premises to chat about future projects, including remixes and an album, how they made it through the pandemic and gave us and overview of shortly released and upcoming music on their label Mireia. Later on the three shared the decks to play one of their energetic sets.

U hi 2022, wir sind hier schon ein bisschen länger angekommen, nicht wahr? Die Tage gehen ins Land und alle fragen sich, was sie neben all den guten, tollen Vorsätzen für dieses Jahr vermisst haben: Na klar! Ein slowbreaks-set von @uferkind. Festival summer is in full swing, and we love every second. Since our set on Ibiza was a breezy, easy going pool-dance type of vibe, we planned to manifest a different flavor of RSS at beloved Garbicz.
To ease into the heat and dust, the first hour is a blend of entrancing, somewhat austere tunes. After that, there was no holding back and euphoria took over.
Much love to every single one of you passionate dancers who made these hours unforgettable.

hallo liebe freund*innen des gepflegten sitztanzes. leicht skeptisch betrat ich gestern das lang vermisste conne island und beäugte die schunkelnde menge. diese schunkeleien werden wohl unsere raveherzen nie final ausfüllen aber ich muss sagen, meins hüpfte da schon ziemlich. weil es dann gegen ende doch noch zeimlich heiß her ging, ist mir mein aufnahmegerät auch noch abgeraucht. mal sehen, wer das quiz löst und errät an welcher stelle das gute eine pause brauchte.

Torture the Artist - your source for contemporary electronic music

Torture the Artist is a webzine, or a magazine made for the internet, geared towards those with a passion for contemporary electronic music, with subgenres including Techno, Tech House, Deep House and Eletronica, as well as a small amount of Indie and Alternative. Founded in 2014 by Holger Breuer, a German native and lover of the arts, Torture the Artist now consists of five team members from all around the world.

In addition to publishing interviews, music reviews, DJ charts and track premieres, the webzine hosts out a  podcast series called 'art:casts'. This medium gives DJs and producers the artistic freedom to highlight their different musical styles while not being restricted by factors such as setting, and connecting them to a wider audience. 

Being in its ninth year, Torture the Artist has gained a strong and active online support group, including music enthusiasts to label managers and artists themselves, creating a cohesive community with music as their bond.
