This week on the podcast, a mix from friend of the festival and celebrated Cartulis resident Junki Inoue. Born in Tokyo but living in London since 2012, Junki's been an avid record collector from an early-age. Few have bags as deep, something shown by this mix, which happens to be an hour section of his set from Dimensions 2022. It's testament to the timeless sound he's cultivated that you'd never tell.

We're very pleased to host Paris' Melody on the podcast this week. A key member of the all-female collective RA+RE, who celebrate their tenth birthday at Dimensions this summer with a boat party, her deep digs and classy mixing always hit the spot. We're super happy to have our friend Teddy on board for the third mix in our Sounds Nice series. We first heard Ted play at Dusty Flyers Club last summer. He impressed us so much that we asked him to contribute to our series as soon as he finished his set! 

The end result did not disappoint, it's a lovely journey through downtempo, breakbeat and into some creamy house. His dedication to digging is highly evident in this mix and he's firmly on our list as someone to watch out for in the years to come. We hope you enjoy!

Torture the Artist - your source for contemporary electronic music

Torture the Artist is a webzine, or a magazine made for the internet, geared towards those with a passion for contemporary electronic music, with subgenres including Techno, Tech House, Deep House and Eletronica, as well as a small amount of Indie and Alternative. Founded in 2014 by Holger Breuer, a German native and lover of the arts, Torture the Artist now consists of five team members from all around the world.

In addition to publishing interviews, music reviews, DJ charts and track premieres, the webzine hosts out a  podcast series called 'art:casts'. This medium gives DJs and producers the artistic freedom to highlight their different musical styles while not being restricted by factors such as setting, and connecting them to a wider audience. 

Being in its ninth year, Torture the Artist has gained a strong and active online support group, including music enthusiasts to label managers and artists themselves, creating a cohesive community with music as their bond.
