Unreleased Remix - Nick Mulvey - Dancing For The Answers (Squire & Karcelen Remix)

'We are happy to share this bootleg remix we did for Nick Mulvey´s „Dancing For The Answers“. It will not be officially released and only shared exclusively with friends and family.

We saw a couple of Nick Mulvey's concerts in Barcelona during 2018. We fell in in love with Nick's music and played around with it in the studio and came up with the idea of this Squire & Karcelen Remix.

Nick Mulvey is a well known singer and songwriter from the UK. He was a founding member of the band Portico Quartet. In 2011 he started his solo career releasing the EPs "The Trellis2 and "Fever to the Form". In 2014 his studio album "First Mind in 2014“ came out and received a Mercury Music Prize nomination. His second album, Wake Up Now, was released on 8 September 2017.
His new album is coming out this year!

We are happy to share this special remix from Squire & Karcelen exclusively with you. We met Nick at one of the concerts where he hand over the stems of "Dancing for the Answers".
This is the outcome of the fun project and we hope you like it as much as we do.

Exclusive Iain Howie 'To Forget (Whitesquare Remix)'

Based in Vancouver Iain Howie has made quite an impression with  releases like 'Fleur' or 'Visional' which both were released on German/Canadian label Rhombus. His latest music, 'To Forget', though sees the versatile musician leaving his mother-label to join 'Needwant'. With the release of the original version of 'To Forget' fairly two weeks ago, the time has come to expose Whitesquare's reinterpretation. As the original version thrilled listeners with a preference for downtempo/ left field-ish, Roman producer Maurice Uzzan adds rhythmically woven percussions to the layers of pads, the hazy chords and the vocals and therefore creates a totally different vibe as he raises the beats per minute from 111 to 118, too.

Iain Howies 'To Forget (Whitesquare Remix)' will be released November 2nd, 2018 on Needwant.

Torture the Artist is a webzine, or a magazine made for the internet, geared towards those with a passion for contemporary electronic music, with subgenres including Techno, Tech House, Deep House and Eletronica, as well as a small amount of Indie and Alternative.
