Chambord, the talented duo from France, is back with a new track called, It’s Been A While, which they’re releasing as a self release.  After the long pandemic that we’ve all witnessed, this track was made to support the clubbing industry, which has been through a lot recently. With some disco touch, this track is very uplifting and will make you dance. 

As they like to create and be part of new project, they also for the occasion, produce and realize a video clip which they will release soon on their youtube channel the September the 10th. They gather a group of music lovers and bring them into empty and iconic clubs of Paris and let them express themselves. It’s been a while that we didn’t dance...

Australia's fasting rising talent "Luke Alessi" continues his trajectory with a second standalone EP on mobilee. We loved his "Matter" EP and Squire "Hundred Falls" Remix so much, they were featured on our Totally Mobilee 2021 and Mobilee Rooftop Summer 2021 compilations.

‘Ways’ takes us even deeper into Luis’s cosmic universe as a beautiful humanoid texture provides the lead while big washes sweep in the background. Gently rising with layers of positivity and musicality, there’s bewildering magic laced deep into the soul of the track… Something that label boss Super Flu complement in a completely flipped way with the remix. Taking the chords and building them around tightly plucked instrumentation, there’s a pensive sense of drama running throughout.

Copenhagen producer Rasmus Vincentz Jensen alias Nandu releases his LP 'One Mans High Is Another Mans Anxiety' on Connected, and musically links to his EP 'Another Jam' that was released on the label earlier this year. The eight tracker, the first album in Connnected's label history, covers, in typical Nandu manner, a wide range of sounds representing the artist's versatility and complexity in a musical sense. The LP's title track 'One Mans High Is Another Mans Anxiety' is no exception and, as the title already suggests, portrays the possible anxiety that come with another person's success at a musical level, of course. The rhythmically beating bass line is joined by a dark synth-melody and an epically sounding vocal that sounds the bell for the shortly repeated twirling arpeggio creating a mentally dark atmosphere that scares the human psyche in a thrilling manner. From then on the track is torn in between the vocal and the synth-segments both representing one of the track title's addressed two sides, the high and the anxiety, both going hand in hand until the end like a mutual relationship, like life!

Torture the Artist is a webzine, or a magazine made for the internet, geared towards those with a passion for contemporary electronic music, with subgenres including Techno, Tech House, Deep House and Eletronica, as well as a small amount of Indie and Alternative. Founded in 2014 by Holger Breuer, a German native and lover of the arts, Torture the Artist now consists of five team members from all around the world.
