All Day I Dream has been spreading its musical rhythm and tone's through it's summer residencies in New York and Los Angeles the past few years as well as through the label. The forth release has been a summer anthem at the parties this year, and with it we welcome the two new family members behind them to ADID. Maher Daniel's presence is rising steadily and you'll be hearing a lot more from our bright star. How he has time to A+R for the label AND create beautiful melodic tracks of this caliber is beyond us but we're glad he's onboard. Gab Rhome appeared on our radar last year with his brilliant release on Suppliment fact and we knew, when we met, it would be a match made in heaven and not simply a fleeting affair. Both artists are dreamers. We love dreamers Maher and Gab weave a timeless quality in to 'farewell at the gates of dawn'. Beautiful, mournful and musical. The track speaks for itself. After working on Farewell Gab was unable to persuade Maher to stop watching reruns of Bay watch and come in to the studio. Alone he created 'Sometimes it goes one way'. Crunchy and pretty with a longing feel to it's vocal it's a fine partner to the A side daydream.

Raised in the Netherlands and inspired by his Balkan heritage, Satori returns to Crosstown Rebels this April with The Gin Song. Featuring acclaimed group My Baby, it’s the third and final single ahead of his upcoming album.

My Baby is a Dutch - New Zeland trio based in Amsterdam. A relentless touring schedule has seen them acquire a large fan base for their live shows. Their unique sound combines rock and dance music with folk infused melodies, all played on instruments curating quite the spectacle to witness live. The trio are no strangers to clubs and festivals from all corners of the globe and have released through labels such as Embrace Recordings, Prehistoric Rhythm and Glitterhouse Records to name a few.

The title track 'Changes' starts off moody and dubby, before the evocative vocal lands, adding more depth again. Exclusive Boot Slap & Thodiris Trianafillou 'Pillow Flight'

Berlin based DJ and live duo Boot Slap teamed up with Thodoris Trianafillou for Connaisseur's latest EP 'Pillow Flight'. The title track starts 'in media res', which means it gives its listeners a catchy synth chord from the start while other elements either take a subordinate role in the course of the track or play a primary role. Either way the diverse synth chords and sounds harmonize through out the track. And even though some just provide as connecting elements for the saxophone to shine, 'Pillow Flight' manages to be one of these tracks that comes along with a musical understatement and thereby gains its strength to remain in its listener's mind.

Boot Slap's and Thodoris Trianafillou's EP 'Pillow Flight' will be out October 16th, 2017 on Connaisseur Recordings.

Torture the Artist is a webzine, or a magazine made for the internet, geared towards those with a passion for contemporary electronic music, with subgenres including Techno, Tech House, Deep House and Eletronica, as well as a small amount of Indie and Alternative. Founded in 2014 by Holger Breuer, a German native and lover of the arts, Torture the Artist now consists of five team members from all around the world.

In addition to publishing interviews, music reviews, DJ charts and track premieres, the webzine hosts out a  podcast series called 'art:casts'. This medium gives DJs and producers the artistic freedom to highlight their different musical styles while not being restricted by factors such as setting, and connecting them to a wider audience.
