This is a nocturnal live set recorded specially for the Moon Koradji series by OCELOT. The oCeLoT project is the creation of a certain Aaron Peacock, who grew up in a musical family. The unique pioneering trance sounds of the oCeLoT project have been heard on dance floors worldwide in more than 50 countries. The oCeLoT project features a discography consisting of a more albums than you can shake a stick at, and over 200 singles released on nearly as many labels. Aaron is currently developing new hybrid post-electronica sounds, stay tuned.

This set is a small taste of the upcoming release on the label, which will be the debut album by Disobedient Perception, Bent & Bøjet and it also consists of old tracks of DP. Disobedient Perception is a project based in Denmark, in the vicinity of Aarhus, a one-man project, heavily influenced and inspired by the pioneers of psytrance from that part of the world. About himself, the artist says: "The name of the project was given by a close friend with the same enthusiasm for foresty, funky and spacy sounds. Music production has been my way of meditation since my late teens. Electronic music has always been my primary source of music in general and after I was introduced to Goa Trance, I made it my mission in life to figure out how to make similar soundscapes as the music I was listening to. I am dedicating a lot of time and putting a lot of energy in to learning by doing, with trials and errors, to see what works best. All steps for me to achieve the style I wish to obtain. In the past few years, I have also been learning from the legendary producers of Aarhus, occasionally by meet-ups with early Parvati artists at Bimmelim Soundlabs and meet-ups with musicians at my own level of skill.

The body is the perfect example of this physical but complex approach, direct and gymnastic pieces combine in a constantly moving and evolving arrangement, full of twists and subtle changes but preserving the groove in every second.

Like a black rainbow uses a drilling bleep to perforate your inner ear while 909 shuffled hats provide the pulse required to move ahead. The bleepy thing evolves in frequency and the groove goes busier as time goes by, resulting in a mind bending experience.

On the flip side, Golden dome uses asymmetrical sequences as the main course, helped with micro drones to improve the otherworldly feel, as usual, the elements come back and forth wisely administered to provide the required danceable energy.

Closing the record things change drastically in Sacred place introducing unusual cadences on the rhythm and sequences, a futuristic march of robots maybe a nice image to confront with the sounds. Not everybody is capable of working with such a groove. Definitely the highlight of this collection.

As a bonus track for the digital edition, A subtle physical sphere, a galactic sound adventure , profound and abstract, a sound voyage into the realms of unconsciousness.
