This B2B was supposed to be just a casual warmup with my G @bloomfeld, turning out to be a dynamic sonic journey, ranging from heavy banging techno mixed with bouncing breakbeats to Gqom-influenced cutting edge dance music. Broadcasted at @refugeworldwide

These two DJs have developed different styles; while one dynamically cuts in sound elements into the mix, emphasising the rhythm of the tracks, the other focuses on accumulating the layers of sounds in the long mix with subtle changes. They are folded together into one piece of sonic storytelling, ranging within spectrum in the versatility of dance music: abstract deconstructed drone/dance music; heavy banging techno mixed with bouncing breakbeats; Kuduro / Gqom-influenced cutting edge dance music.

This is the recording on closing on Celestial Festival organised by Yeoja Magazine. The whole 2 days of festival was filled with rejoice and respect for diverse races, genders and ages.With such nice crowd It was a great pleasure to be in the charge of after party along with talents like @pooja_b_ikigai @djbbdeng @cococobra

My set is focused on unfolding the looming energy to percussive rhythms, dark trancy melodic lines and pumping bass to finish up with emotional melody as always. It's my pleasure if my set could bright up your day a bit 🕊✨

Celestial Festival - closing set -

This is re-recorded version of my mix that I did live @refugeworldwide ,of which unfortunately live recording was broken due to the technical  issue at that time. 

It will take you gradually to nodding rhythm from @overthinkermob taking off with a magnificent track from @ultrafog, going through a head banging track with a lively drum programming from @catartsis and layered melodies are folded into jazz tracks. You feel that's bit of mixed up everything ? Ah sorry No Room For Squares here.

The day after I went to Details organised by @mzrmusic, I had an inspiration that must be captured as a dj set, as if it's molten iron before it's solidified. It's a rough sketch of the direction I'm heading into, which I hope makes your day energised 📛

Toshiki Shimada started his career as a hip hop Dj and thanks to the denseness of music genres in Tokyo, variation of styles can be heard through his mixing. The tracks he chooses to play differ in style but have consistent fashion in detail and the core - psychedelic and hypnotic sounds which are cultivated in the fertile club culture in Japan. Tracks harmonise and conflict between each other, transcending into layers of sound in the aggregate. His play focuses on creating tension and releasing energy through creating layers. He’s played at important techno clubs in Tokyo, such as Contact, Circus, Asia, Air and Module.
