The first release in Vala series is pieced together by Kaspiann and Samuel van Dijk with his Multicast Dynamics and Mohlao aliases. Characterised by melancholic melodies and ethereal pads combined with hefty rolling bass, the EP is a diverse four tracker that seeks to take its listener on a trance-like voyage to those fleeting moments of euphoria. Originating from the north, Vala is a manifestation of the profound feelings of the gloomy but wistful polar nights.

Next beautiful file is hailing from big B. vauna is a Berlin based producer and DJ dedicated to exploring modern electronic music & complex rhythms. He is a co-founder of the event series and record label hyphen.
vauna is known for a uplifting, genre-crossing sound. Constantly shaping and refining his style, vauna’s live sets and productions have developed into contemporary, hardware-focused techno, defined by strong grooves and aesthetically appealing sound palettes. As a DJ, his track selection is guided naturally by vibe and atmosphere more than genre.

Dedication to creating unique arrangements and sounds has always been at the heart of vauna’s musical work. As a classically trained musician, vauna’s musical origins are rooted in experimental and progressive rock music, releasing his first self-produced album at age 19. Fascinated by purist, rhythmically complex techno arrangements and guided by intense nights on the dancefloor, he made his way into electronic music shortly after.

SV3N (@sv3n) 🤖, born and raised in Offenbach am Main, was immersed in music from an early age through his father's extensive record collection. By age 10, music became his refuge, drawing early influence from Kraftwerk, Jean-Michel Jarre, Ultravox, Anne Clarke, and The Art of Noise. At 14, he learned to DJ. Active in Hip-Hop and EBM scenes, he also explored Disco, Soul, and Electronic Pop before discovering early Techno and House in the late 80s via local clubs, friends, and radio stations. Between 1989 and 1993, SV3N was a fixture at iconic Frankfurt clubs such as OMEN, The Music Box, and Dorian Gray. In 1993, he transitioned from the dancefloor to the DJ booth, playing with the DELIRIUM crew in clubs across the region. 

By 1995, he had performed at Berlin’s Tresor. After refining his sound towards Electro and IDM, he moved to Manchester in 1998, affiliating with Skam Records and the UK underground. Relocating to Berlin in 2010, SV3N worked with renowned venues and labels like Berghain, Tresor, Warp, and Backsteinboot.

Participated in many gigs at venues such as Tresor Berlin, Astron Bar, Vondelbunker (Amsterdam), Six Dogs, Temple Athens, The Host SKG, Romantso & Β-Side. In 2023 she released her first track in “The Pact” VA, alongside with artists like Crystal Geometry, DΛS, Bestial Mouths and many more, as well as her first EP “ATASTHALIES" again on Public Sex Regime from Amsterdam."

Toshiki Shimada started his career as a hip hop Dj and thanks to the denseness of music genres in Tokyo, variation of styles can be heard through his mixing. The tracks he chooses to play differ in style but have consistent fashion in detail and the core - psychedelic and hypnotic sounds which are cultivated in the fertile club culture in Japan. Tracks harmonise and conflict between each other, transcending into layers of sound in the aggregate. His play focuses on creating tension and releasing energy through creating layers. He’s played at important techno clubs in Tokyo, such as Contact, Circus, Asia, Air and Module.
