I started this tune two years ago during one of the lonelier moments of my life as a sort of a deep depression decompression. Between then and now, this tune has freed slaves, caused earthquakes, and raised roofs both indoors and out.

In light of the fact that the album this track will be featured on is coming out in the next few days, posting this tune publicly right now is a potentially questionable marketing decision, but nevertheless it is arguably an obligatory spiritual decision.

After all, I, like you, could be gone before you know it, and this one is a long time coming, let me tell you what.

The realms one passes through during their rite of passage and initiation into the void. The four sonic realms embody the oracle, royalty, ascendance and quantum entanglement. Dissølv into your journey and travels into the realms beyond.

Oracle Iris

Sibling (Trent Thomas) finds inspiration in the red soil and vortexes of his home land in Arizona. After years of experimenting with different genres of music production he has developed an original approach, combining heavy rhythmic patterns with evocative soundscapes. This particular release, Forest Of Illusion, draws upon many facets of dark music production, distilling the results into an entrancing and unusual strain of what he calls “progressive downtempo”. Travel through this forest and you will find yourself lost, contemplating reality, and with each breath you will inhale spores that populate the air around you. With further exploration you may even discover true earth history within the memory of the forest, connecting soul to source. Mastered by Dennis Bunton AKA Ion Driver with art design by Roy Thomas and Trent Thomas.

Earlier this year Desert Dwellers released their most diverse album in the duo's long career. The Great Mystery was the first full length collaborative project between the main founders Amani Friend and Treavor Moontribe, and featured a wide range of styles and aesthetics from downtempo and psychedelic dub to tribal trance to exotic house and techno flavors.

To celebrate the special release, Desert Dwellers have curated an ambitious two-part remix album full of contributions from some of the brightest luminaries and rising talents across the underground electronic music landscape. The Great Mystery Remixes Part 1 is slated for a September 21st release, and features sonic reinterpretations from Gaudi, Liquid Stranger, Hibernation, An-ten-nae, Kaminanda, AtYya, Tribone, Twin Shape, Land Switcher, Drumspyder, and Govinda. The second part will be released in late October with contributions from Emancipator, Whitebear, Sixis, Mystral, Supersillyus, Halfred, Master Minded, and many others. With artists from across the globe and musical genres, these carefully crafting renditions of Desert Dwellers' The Great Mystery are a potent combination of immersive soundscapes that pay a loving tribute to the original compositions.

Micky Green - Oh ! (P.e.o Bootleg Remix)

Totem is the solo project of Boulder based producer, Phoenix Clay Michael. Phoenix has been playing eastern-style instrumentation for over a decade(tabla, doumbek, darbuki, didgeridoo, ric, native flute etc). With Totem, Phoenix explores the digital domain with rich melodies, psychedelic synths, and exotic instrumentation. Totem culminates these two passions into a modern interpretation of ancient instruments. The sampling style is deep and visceral. Blending sequences of thick bass and instrumentation with live production. Live production includes: Didgeridoo, vocals, synth, keyboard, percussion, and bass. Phoenix's debut album with Totem is titled, The Bonfire of Life, and was written as a motion of solidarity with the native tribes of North America. Totem sees the immense potency that dance has for healing in our culture, and also sees the reverent nature of ancient and native style music. The ultimate thrill is fusing these two things into a continuous musical experience shared amongst listener and maker. Totem is humbled to bring thy dance medication. Aho
